Red Roof Inn Kalamazoo East - Expo Center

Room was great, everything worked. The front desk person was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately no coffee maker in the room, the vending machine area was locked. Also the liquid soap dispensers were crap, hardly gave you any soap or shampoo. Likely will stay again.

Paid for 3 individual days, checked in fine, then paid upfront almost $400 to be told at check in that we are now banned from the property and wouldn't be receiving a refund and had one hour to vacate the property and at the end of the hour they would be calling the police. The front desk staff was rude, they have a child doing maintenance and yard work with zero regard to the guests staying there. If you value your money and don't want to sleep on sheets containing blood that is definitely not yours I suggest going anywhere else

Room was okay, everything worked, ALL lights, television, water and shower, including the heat system, sheets were clean on bed and pillows were comfy! Only dilemma was there wasn't a mini fridge in the room I was in, though I managed without it...other than that I slept well and and enjoyed the hospitality

Positive: Clean and staff was friendly and professional. Negative: There were only 4 electrical outlets and the two by the bed did not work. The shower didn't have the greatest water pressure and they use those liquid soap dispensers which I don't like and its hard to get the soap out of them.

very disappointed, the room was disgusting. i don’t think i would ever stop here again. people were being loud outside of my room, there was nasty stuff all over the floor, a USED PAD WITH BLOOD ON IT STUCK UNDER THE MATTRESS, the other bed had a bunch of brownish spills in multiple spots, and it smelled of cigarette smoke extremely bad. this was one of my only options and i am extremely disappointed

Very friendly annd accommodating staff! Everything was clean and comfortable. The only thing missing would be a mini fridge in the room.

Place is a dump, both rooms had mice I ended up buying heavy duty black tape and covered the holes at 2 am when I told Roja and Mike the maintenance man they said all rooms have mice on 1st floor and that I can cover holes myself I sent my niece to get toilet paper and Derrick from the front desk asked her for her number mind u she's 16 very weird person. Glad I only stayed 3 days and we bounced
