Nice store with a large selection and plenty of staff who are eager to help. But buyer / seller beware. Their online prices for guns are discounted compared to what you will find in store. The gun I came to see was $100+ more that what I saw online. I also got low balled on a trade. Wasn't worth it, so I walked away. I get it - they have to get us to pay for all that staff and physical space somehow. Not for me. I'll keep shopping and selling online with shipping to / from my local FFL.

Great retail store to find what you need, and also for training. The CCW class with Pete was incredibly valuable for safety, legal details and more. I think every gun owner should take that class. Even if you don’t plan to concealed carry. The handgun level 1 class with Mike is amazing too. The classroom safety and stance information is great, as is the range time with personal instructor guidance. Sam was excellent helping me there. Highly recommend Diamondback Shooting retail store and training. I’ve already referred others to training.

I appreciate these folks so much. I’ve hardly touched a firearm since getting out of the military over 20 years ago, and these instructors treated me respectfully and met me WHERE I WAS on my dusty skill set. Last Saturday I took the handgun level 1 class to reintroduce myself to marksmanship. Mike was an excellent lead instructor, with a clear priority on safety while teaching and encouraging proficiency. Sean was my instructor on the range and was knowledgeable, calm, and facilitated a very safe and comfortable environment to get comfy with a 9mm again. Even better is that I watched the entire team encourage and coach the same way with the other students, no matter if that was the first day they’d ever seen a firearm up close. Also, they have a guy that just qualified on some air Marshall training. (Firing a gun at a hijacker inside an airplane without taking the plane down and killing other passengers is a pretty awesome skill set. I’m just saying. I mean…. These guys are not your redneck neighbor that can show you how to shoot if you show up with a 12 pack….) Apparently they do individual coaching for a reasonable price, so I will be signing up for that very soon. Based on my positive experience in their handgun class, I’ll be back to explore more options!

Everyone there is super friendly, but Dee truly went above and beyond. She’s an absolute expert on all the complex forms with incredible attention to detail. She took the effort and time to help me figure out a difficult paperwork challenge. But most importantly she will go out of her way to help. Sadly people don’t do that to much anymore. And she truly cares about doing a great job and solving problems for her customers. Can’t thank her enough. Can’t recommend this shop highly enough. Great selection, good prices, and fantastic people!

I was at the rifle range recently shooting my AR 15 when it became jammed with a live round. This can be a dangerous situation. I decided to take it to a gun shop and went to Diamondback Shooting sports on Broadway and Kolb in Tucson, Arizona. It was a Sunday afternoon and I expected I would need to leave the weapon with them, but they said give us a minute. Too young guys who were very knowledgeable about the rifle took it back and within 15 minutes had the job completely done. I was extremely impressed with their abilities and the way they handled the situation. Both were knowledgeable and proceeded to show me how to take the gun apart and put it back together the proper way and what lubricants to use, etc. They did a really nice job and didn’t even charge me. It’s not the first time I’ve been in that shop. I Purchased a gun there several years ago. Definitely would recommend them for knowledge, expertise and pleasant demeanor.

I have taken three classes from Diamondback Shooting Sports. Intoduction to Handgun and Intermediate Handgun plus my CCW class. My son and I just finished the intermediate class. It was outstanding. Mike is an excellent instructor - he presents the content in a way that is easy to comprehend, then demonstrates each drill, then provides feedback to each student during the drills. Mike is great at explaining how each component is important and how it all fits together. This class provided and immediate benefit and it also gave me stuff to work on and practice on my own going forward. I am new to shooting but have spent some significant time researching available training and this class, while not cheap, provides excellent value for the money. The price for two full days of training is very competitive and the quality is excellent. I think anyone who is intereste in building skill and confidence at shooting a handgun would enjoy and benefit from this class. The presentation is professional, acceassable, completely apolitical. I am confident that anyone regardless of background, politics, comfort level, etc. would enjoy and appreciate Mike as an instructor. Now I just need a rifle so I can take the carbine training classes 😉

I went in to the store hoping to have a gunsmith remove a stuck and seized trigger pin from my handgun, Miguel was very helpful and had the pin removed in just a few minutes! Overall great experience with the team over at Diamondback Shooting Sports! Highly recommend them for all your firearm/gunsmithing needs.
