Centro histórico de San Ángelo

Has a bunch of out-of-towners coming into San Angelo. We were greeted by a beautiful backdrop of historic downtown. Thessally and Carie being actors and coming from Georgia. Thought the locations and statues about the whole downtown area where marvelous pieces of art and architecture. The public library is one of the coolest little buildings to see. The tiles of the cowboys and the different lines of the building made it just such a unique and beautiful find. The theater house, I can only wait to see what the renovations look like once this beautiful building is finished. Imagining the Marquis lit up and all the lights shining, it would be a fantastic place to film or throw a great show. Thessaly loved all the cacti around the city. She connected with all of the nature that it provided. We stopped in to eat at a restaurant and we also saw a couple people at a cool tattoo shop. But what was surprising is how we're outgoing to do things.

Fun and vibrant. Stores pricey tho. Ranch 125 and waited 1 hour for 5star catfish bites! Fi Fi Dubois bar and venue worth $10 cover!!! Reasonable drinks

Downtown San Angelo is a beautiful area to explore. At a first glance, it doesn't seem like there is much there, but after a few minutes of exploration and an open mind, one will find an ever-increasing amount of beautiful and thought-provoking pieces of artwork. I would recommend this area to my closest friends and family.

Paintbrush Alleyway is awesome! I keep coming back. The art here is updated every once in a while. If you love art and are in need of inspiration by local artists, Paintbrush Alleyway is the place to visit.

I was recently in downtown San Angelo and very impressed with all revitalization that has taken place. The Historic Downtown Organization has really stepped it up with creating a community. If you’re looking for a unique Texas destination with a blend of history, charm, and modern vibrancy, Historic Downtown San Angelo is a must-visit. This area is a perfect mix of local boutiques, incredible restaurants, beautiful parks, and cultural attractions, all within a walkable and scenic setting.

I grew up in San Angelo and have always loved downtown. Our city has a beautiful downtown filled with a mix of shops, restaurants, bars, and museums. The Concho River, Fort Concho, Railway Museum, River Stage, and the arts scenes are pluses and what make our downtown unique! ❤️
