Incredible instructor and clean horses!

Johnny 6 Stables is a game changer especially if you’ve had trouble finding lessons as a heavier rider. They’re welcoming, professional, and genuinely care about your progress. Johnny and Amanda have a great teaching style: firm when needed, encouraging when it counts. You don’t just ride…you actually learn. If you want real horsemanship, they’ll teach you everything and go as deep as you’re willing to go.

Johnny was a splendid instructor who took me from someone who's never been within 100ft of a horse, to riding and walking a horse. I can say I am now hooked and now dream of being an equestrian! She made my experience pleasurable and made me feel safe (and Rose). Speaking of Rose, she is very well-mannered and such a loving horse! We had our disagreements, but in the end we compromised and I look forward to seeing her again in the future. I highly suggest Johnny for horseback riding lessons, and to bring a friend along! I learned from my friend so by the time it was my turn, I did not make the same mistakes. I'm excited to go back!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this barn! My son is taking horseback riding lessons with Johnny, and she is absolutely amazing. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what she does. She has such a special gift for teaching children—making them feel confident, safe, and excited to learn. My son looks forward to every lesson, and we’ve seen so much growth in his skills and confidence. Highly recommend to any families looking for a positive and supportive environment for their kids!
