If you’re looking for a good place to take lessons look no further. I have absolutely loved my experience at DDH. My instructors Marie and Lexy have done such an amazing job helping me grow my confidence and skills. Not growing up around horses can make them intimidating but at DDH they meet you right where you are and help you grow from there. There is also such a great sense of community at DDH with both staff and students. There’s also many ways to get involved outside of lessons. One of my favorite memories at DDH was the 4th of July Parade. I couldn’t recommend a better place to start or continue your horsemanship journey!!

My two daughters started taking lessons for the first time a few months ago and they have really enjoyed their experience here. Their teacher Marie is great and we are so impressed with all the skills they have learned and how much they improved each week.

We have been so impressed by how friendly, knowledgeable and organized double diamond ranch is! We have had such a good experience with them so far! Special shout out to Marie for being a great and helpful instructor! She has helped my daughter reach such great goals and progress, and so quickly too! The environment is so welcoming and safe, and she has grown so much in her confidence and skills. Hi, it’s Kate! Since I already wrote a review about my experience with the riding lessons, I’m using my family YouTube account to share my wonderful time during my recent Ranch Ride with Marie. The Ranch Ride experience is like no other. It’s the perfect mix of a trail ride, lessons, and learning more about livestock/fence care. From the smooth logistical coordination to the comfort and safety while out in the fields, this is such a great experience. You get to spend time with the horses, see what it takes to transport them, meet other classmates, and enjoy being guided by Marie, who is both experienced and passionate about the crew and her work. Thanks so much DDHR for yet another amazing opportunity!

This place is fantastic. I started lessons here based on location, ready to have to shop around and find somewhere that I fit in, that was drama free AND has knowledgeable instructors. I'm happy to say that I never had to look any further than DDH. They have structured riding lessons, training lessons and off-site opportunities that I hadn't expected. I've been in 2 parades and worked cattle on several occasions! The horses are well cared for and I've never felt unsafe on any of them. Best of all, my instructor Marie, has the patience of a saint. I'm still learning and she has always been kind and forgiving when I make mistakes. I would definitely recommend this ranch to anyone that's wanting to learn how to ride, child through adult!

This dedication has paid off immensely: we've seen a huge boost in Reagan's overall horsemanship and, crucially, her confidence when working around large animals. A particular highlight was Reagan's recent off-site ranch ride with Marie. This experience allowed Reagan to truly showcase the skills she has been learning in a real-world setting, which was incredibly rewarding to watch. We are already looking forward to booking her next trail ride to continue building on this success! The facility itself is well-maintained, providing both indoor and outdoor spaces for year-round riding.
