Mending Fences at JM Ranch

My 3 year old son has been coming here since October and so far it has been amazing. I do suggest you to let them know personally your child's Diagnoses or triggers just so they know how to "approach" your child accordingly. My son has autism level 2 (verbal) and hyperactivity (severe range) && hasnt had an episode at all here until a couple weeks ago but it was handled correctly and to be honest I love it here ! Its soothing and quiet. (It was supposed to be 3 months of sessions but since my sons worker is aware of how much he loves it she extended it for almost a YEAR which is awesome) ❤️

The owner of the program would constantly chastize me for soothing my son when he would freak out. They expect the parents to just sit and watch as they try and use Non-professionals to engage with Autistic childrens' episodes. Plus there's a cold dead vibe to the ranch.

If I could give zero stars, I just had a situation with my 3-year-old, it made me feel uncomfortable her one on one just jump in the ower truck n took off with no expectations on to what was happening the lack of communication is ridiculous they left her with a male when i was told she only be with a female when I called to ask what happened And if everything was okay They were rude disrespectful... not to mention they never introduced themselves. And I'm pulling my daughter out...

JM Ranch is fantastic. Great people with the kindest hearts. The work that they do here with the kids will bring a tear to your eye. So much fun to watch the kids come out of there shell with the staff and animals.

They are like family. They make you feel so at home. Take great care of kids!

My son really enjoys coming to the Ranch. He likes the hard work and the reward that comes with it, riding the horses! It's been a long time since I've seen him smile like he did when he rode a horse for the first time. The staff are wonderful too!

We truly enjoy our weekly visits!! Joe and Melissa run an AWESOME program for our special needs and troubled youth!!! 🤗🤗
