Love, love, love Hoyer Show stables! Kacey is a wonderful teacher/trainer and the kids love her. My daughter has learned so much from Kacey! The horses are well cared for, loved and fun to ride. Lesson and boarding prices are reasonable and competitive. I don't think you'll find anyone who cares as much for your child and your horse 🙂

Being a first time horse mom to a super special OTTB, it was a MUST to find the perfect barn and trainer. I honestly couldn’t as for a better situation and place to be! Kaceys training background and her specialization in OTTB training, they get the best care, feed, and hay! Kacey is an amazing trainer, the best ground person ever. She articulates and really uses simple yet affective cues that are easy to understand for any rider. She completely changed my horse and I into a completely different pair in 3 lessons. Her husband Tyler is also amazing with horses. They even picked up my horse from the old stable, and he was so sweet and kind and patient with my horse, who’s a bit sensitive . My horse has changed significantly since arriving here.and is so happy and finally beefing up! They will always do what’s best for the horse so you can always fee good knowing your horse really is in amazing hands! They can teach all levels. The assistant trainer Meghan is another great part of the team. Meghan and Kacey are cohesive in their styles so you will always have a fun, productive lesson! 12/10 recommend everything about this place! And bonus it’s 8 minutes from my house and basically in Saint Petersburg’ hard to find good city barns, but this one comes out on top!

Honestly the best boarding situation and the best trainer I never knew I needed. I came from a barn and "trainer" in Bradenton who cut corners and left me (unbeknownst to me) a *hot mess*. Kacey is one of the most kind hearted people I have ever met; she is soft enough to teach children in an uplifting way, and yet firm and encouraging enough to allow adult riders to flourish as well. If you’re looking for a trainer that will throw you over poles and let you do whatever you want- this is not the place. But if you’re looking for a coach that will take you back to basics and build a foundation that will carry you through ANY discipline. Her assistant trainer Megan (and her boy Taco!💕) complete the training trifecta and make for an overall well rounded training program that will take your kid (or you) to the top! If you’re looking to board, they are incredibly affordable and you get what you pay for and more. As a mom to a very sensitive OTTB, it was a dream to find a stable owner who not only appreciates the breed that many look down on, but also one who is extremely educated on the specifics of their care. I truly, truly cannot put into words just how happy I am to be a part of Hoyer. 💜

Literally the only stable to go to in st.pete. The trainer Kacey and her staff have an unprecedented level of professionalism. The knowledge and experience she can offer her students is exceptional. She pays attention to every detail. Her style focuses on rewarding students with positive reinforcement. When they make mistakes she let's them know in a positive and professional manner. I have never seen this woman EVER act unprofessional. Any bad reviews this stable has ever gotten are false. I've walked through this establishment. These are the happiest horses I have ever seen. The students are engaged and want to come to these classes. I have a friend taking classes here and I've been there to watch. I am thoroughly impressed and floored by how good she is. All her students are winners and so is she.

kacey has been nothing but kind and uplifting through every lesson ive taken here. she has a teaching style that really helps you grasp concepts incredibly easily, and she really explains her critiques and lets you know not only what you can improve, but why and how. i cant remember the last time i was this excited to go to the barn until i moved here, and it has been the best decision of my life. if youre looking for a place to go, this is it.

Property/ Barn is well kept. Casey is awesome! Kids are friendly to each other. Nice area to sit & watch.

Best place to learn all about horses and how to ride! My granddaughter takes lessons here. It gives her pride and confidence! She competes and wins many times. It also teaches responsibility to care for your animals!
