My daughter has been taking lessons here for over a year now. The instructors all teach the kids with positivity but also challenge them to be their best. As an equestrian myself, I know the impact a riding instructor can make in building one’s confidence…and they exceed my expectations. Your child will learn every part of horsemanship, from getting the horse ready, to communicating with your horse while riding. It’s so much more than just riding! They also treat their horses with exceptional care!

I read that negative review on here and although I am not sure where that opinion comes from it sure doesn't sound like the same Libby Ferguson Training Center that my daughter has been taking lessons at for 2 1/2 years. That place is made for kids! The place offers the best instruction for English riders in this region and Libby has a reputation built over twenty years of training national champions. She shows more care and concern for her students and the horses then her own business interests so it sure sounds like sour grapes to me! So this popped up today on my Google reviews saying that 1000 views have been seen on my comment. Pleased to confirm an update that my daughter has now been going to Libby Ferguson’s training center for 8 1/2 years and she’s only gotten better.

I enrolled my 2 girls (8&4) into Libby's summer riding camp. Its now September and they have NOT stopped talking about it! They can't wait to go back and have another summer spent with Libby, the girls at the barn and all the beautiful horses! The stalls were kept incredibly clean. We were very impressed with everything and everyone in the barn. The girls that Libby has working for her in the barn are so nice, willing to answer any questions and had so much patience with my girls. This will be every summer thing for our family. Libby went above and beyond for us and even though I was nervous to leave my youngest, she was sure to calm my nerves by sending me photos and videos of her throughout the day. What a way to help a mom! 🙂 I cannot say enough good things about the barn, staff, Libby & their horses. 5 stars does not do it justice!

I have been riding with Libby for 15 years and although I could easily write many paragraphs regarding all of the wonderful things about Libby and her business, I will try to keep this simple and to the point. At Libby’s, kids and adults alike get to experience the many benefits of riding and working with horses in an environment where safety and a positive atmosphere are always the top priorities. Employees are friendly and helpful and students are respected and treated as individuals. All of the horses, as well as the dogs and cats, receive the utmost of care and are treated and loved as members of the family.

I started riding at Libby’s at summer camp when I was 5 years old and loved all the horses and people at the barn. Camp was my favorite experience every summer, and I’ve now been riding with Libby for 11 years. Libby always makes sure I have every opportunity available to me to ride and compete on new horses, even though I don’t own a horse myself. It’s always the highlight of my day and my favorite place to be!

We were driving through the area and decided to stop to let our 2 year old stretch her legs. Luckily, Libby was able to fit her in for a short notice riding lesson on the same day. The grounds are beautiful, the animals (horses, dogs, and cats) are super sweet and gentle, and the instructors were top notch. Our daughter had the best time and we will definitely be back.

Three generations of my family (my mother, myself and my daughters) have been riding at Libby Ferguson Training Center for the past 7 years. When we started, I had no idea how much it would positively impact all of us and become such an important part of our lives. I have watched my oldest daughter evolve into a confident and compassionate young lady and attribute her growth to the life lessons she has learned at the barn. Libby not only teaches the girls to become excellent riders but she teaches them to respect all of the animals at the barn. I love that part of the lesson includes tacking your horse and untacking - this is an important step to bonding with the horse but also learning about the care that is an essential part of horsemanship. The environment at Libby Ferguson Training Center is top notch - the stables are beautiful and all of the animals from cats, dogs and horses make it an ideal place for any animal lover to spend time. We have participated in all the services that Libby offers including lessons, pony parties, summer camps, fun shows and horse showing and have created memories that will last my family a lifetime. LFTC has become more than just a barn but truly part our lives. I strongly recommend!
