All Tacked Up Horse Riding Academy

I started riding just before my 36th birthday after doing a trail ride with my sister and falling in love with it. I had a hard time finding a place that ticked all of my boxes starting late in life and All Tacked Up has done that. They really care for each individual rider and what your goals are for riding, but they also really care for their horses and making sure that not only does the rider feel safe and secure, but the horses do too. I’ve taken my friends and family there, as well for the fun events they put on. It’s been a great experience that’s made me feel like it’s never too late to learn something new and given me confidence as a new rider.

ATU is a great facility that truly cares for their horses and riders. Both instructors, MJ and Lindsey, are wonderfully kind and accepting. They make you feel right at home. My first riding lesson in over 5 years, was informative and lots of fun! I can't wait to learn more from them! Great place for plus size equestrians, riders of all ages, and any skill level. 💙🐴

been riding at All Tacked Up for about a year now, and it has been the best experience! The trainers are so supportive, knowledgeable, and really take the time to help you grow as a rider. You can tell they care deeply about their horses and their students. Every lesson is fun and rewarding, and I’ve gained so much confidence over the past year.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at ATU... MJ and Lindsey were fantastic! It was honestly a little intimidating at first, but the trainers made me feel comfortable and confident, and it was very clear they train and take care of their horses very well. It was also apparent that they are super open to beginners, as the last time I was on a horse was over 30 years ago as a young man. I called around before I booked and found ATU had very reasonable rates. I had such a great time that I've already booked a lesson for my son! Lindsey and MJ are so genuine, and I can't wait to share the joy of riding with my kiddo! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, educational, and beginner-friendly riding experience!

All Tacked Up is absolutely amazing. Horses are well taken care of, very well trained, and Lindsey and MJ are great. Even if you’re a beginner, they help you learn to tack up and take care of the horse. They’re super encouraging and amazing trainers, I’ll definitely be sticking with them for my lessons. I look forward to improving my skills here!

I had the best time with my first class with MJ! I had not ridden in 20 years, and was a little anxious before the lesson. I rode Cowboy, who was such a gentleman and immediately made me comfortable. And, MJ is such a fantastic instructor. She explains how human nature and animal nature intersect, and how to learn to teach your "muscle memory", so you are not having to think constantly about how to control the horse. I can not wait for my next class, as well as participating in some of the many events they have going on that students can attend free. I felt very comfortable and supported by everyone at All Tacked Up! Katrina White

I have learned more in the few months I have been riding at ATU than I have in my entire riding career! The academy is full of wonderful trainers, horses, and people. It’s obvious they care deeply about their horses and want their students to succeed. I personally have leased one of their horses and the experience has been like no other! Training under MJ has been an absolute blast and I have been given plenty of opportunities to ride outside the arena and participate in local shows and events!
