Brooke Carlson Equestrian Center

My mother and I have ridden at Brooke Carlson Training Center for over 20 years. We have done everything from taking lessons, owning three horses that were trained by Brooke, trail riding, camping, and competing in various disciples across the US and Canada. We are grateful to have met Brooke as she takes great care of her horses and is a very kind person with wonderful and safe horses. If you are looking into riding, look no further!

I am 64 and even though I have had horses and been around them for over 30 years never had an opportunity to go on a trail ride and I did it with Brooke a couple weeks ago. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. Brooke is an extraordinary trainer with a caring personality. Her horses all the most well behaved and trained horses I have ever seen. I have known Brooke for the last two years but it feels like I’ve known her all my life. Thank you Brooke for welcoming me and chase to your paradise and making us part of your world. My son who has Autism has been riding at Brooke’s since 2017. When he first started, I wasn’t really sure if it would have a therapeutic effect - but I thought - well let’s just try it. In the beginning Brooke said he would learn to ride independently and I honestly didn’t believe her. But today he rides independently and is very proud of his accomplishments. Brooke supported my son every step of the way and has always treated him as any other rider while also adjusting to his level. She’s very patient with him and is not only a horse whisperer, but an autism whisperer.

I’ve always wanted to try horseback riding but wasn’t sure where to begin. After looking into several places, I was so glad to find Brooke Carlson Equestrian Center. Brooke, the owner & instructor is absolutely amazing! She made me feel welcome right away and turned my very first horseback riding experience into something I’ll never forget ☺️ If you’re in or around Morgan Hill, I highly recommend checking this place out. Wonderful place to ride. Brooke is a great teacher and friend. The horses are well trained. We have had many fun adventures and I look forward to more adventures in the future.

I have been riding with Brooke for my whole life! She has taught me everything I need to know about horses and more. She is an incredible teacher and an awesome roll model! I would not be where I am today without the skills and opportunities she has shown me. She is phenomenal!

Brooke Carlson is an incredible horsewoman. Every horse adores her. Brooke knows everything there is to know about horses & riding. Brooke works with riders of all levels (often simultaneously) , her knowledge and eye for detail is profound. Brooke’s scope includes very small children and older adults, she also changes lives with equine therapy. Her horses truly have a purpose and are impeccably behaved, calm & content due to her horsemanship. Brooke is a treasure, one-of-a-kind, I am honored to know her and ride with her.
