Serendipity Stables

I too had the same experience the other reviewer has left. Super rude, disrespectful, and condescending, when I called she actually told me to come down to the stable and check it out then completely ignored me when I was puzzled. Then I was told I had to take a bunch of expensive lessons before I would be able to board my horse. If you have any self respect avoid this place at all cost. One bright spot was the owners granddaughter, she was super helpful I was able to talk to her. In the end the owner told me to fill out some paperwork that lessons don’t start until spring when I went to hand her the paper she said go put it over there which I had no idea where over there is. My guess it probably got thrown away. Very unfortunate there are people in the horse business that think they can tray folks like dirt and think that’s ok. Just sayin

My daughter loved the lessons, the horses, and the people there. We are from Europe, where kids don’t usually get to ride as much — everything is very strict and they're constantly being monitored. At this stable, my daughter was able to truly ride and learn something new

My wife starting taking lessons here in the spring and she has had an amazing experience. Serendipity stables is a great community of caring and fun people!!

My childhood dream was to have a horse. So I started lessons at Serendipity Stables, when I was 40 and knew almost nothing about horses. Sue and her horses are fantastic teachers! Soon I leased a horse, on the off season, and then bought my own, which I board at SS. Sue takes great care of the horses, and they are very happy here. She takes great care of us too! It's a great community of supportive horse people -- kids, teens, adults. Great place to be living a dream.

I started taking lessons here while in the midst of a lot of medical problems that were getting the best of my head. The instructors here are so friendly, patient and are really good at communicating. The horses are so fun to ride and be around. And I thank them very much for all the parts they teach you when riding a horse. It's the perfect challenge. I would absaloutely recommend Serendipity Stables 💙

It was wonderful. 6 of us went for our Grand daughters 16th birthday. They were so great with our youngest grandson, who is Autistic and kept all of us engaged. My grand daughter is interested in taking riding lessons. We would definitely do again. Highly recommend!!!Aloha, Tutu Ferguson and the Titus's

The owner is extremely condescending, i asked about private lessons and was told it couldn't be provided, would actually yell at me when I asked questions about their method because they used things I was not used to with horse riding. Basic questions that were met with defensive and condescending answers. She realized I was not reacting well to her responses and decided to give me a "private lesson" WITHOUT TELLING ME THATS WHAT TODAYS SESSION WOULD BE. ONLY CALLED IT ONE AT THE END. Proceeds to have a minor child who volunteers to clean around the arena give me a lesson; who told me they have never taught anyone and didn’t really know what the owner Sue expected of us, so we did stretching exercises (this volunteer was very sweet and tried her best.) Sue then charges me for a "private lesson." She was far from helpful and kept the full amount, did not even split it with the "teacher." This place is a joke! There are many great horseback riding locations near SLC, with real instructors and caring owners. This is far from one of them. Such a waste of time and money.
