Desert Rose Ranch

I looked long and hard for a place to board my horse in South Florida. The things that convinced me to go to Desert Rose were myriad: Michele, the head trainer, is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, safety-conscious, and treats every one of her students as important regardless of whether they’re a first-time lesson student or an owner of multiple horses; the ranch has outstanding facilities for the horses, including turnout pastures lush with grass and providing plenty of shade; and a crew of workers who are dedicated to keeping the horses safe and happy. In the years since I made the decision to first ride there and then bring my horse to Desert Rose, I have managed to take a recently off-the-track Thoroughbred and, with Michele’s incredible insight and stewardship, develop him into a ribbon-collecting contender in Wellington. I’ve also made incredible new friends at the barn (a tricky thing when you’re an adult in a new place!) and watched as the barn kids formed lifelong bonds with their peers and their ponies. If you’re looking for a place to ride and have fun that’s safe, welcoming, beautiful, and that truly cares about the welfare and wellbeing of their horses (and cats and pigs and ducks!) then we would love to see you at Desert Rose!

We’ve been riding at Desert Rose for over 2.5 years & board our horses here as well. We started riding in Wellington, & glad we made the change to DRR. It feels like home, every single person ( worker) feels like FAMILY, as it should feel. There is ALWAYS someone there to help you, trainers readily available. Pam, the owner, is friendly, warm & truly made this place what it is. There’s something for everyone at DRR; between the large ring & all of the different jumps, to the trails, the lush pastures, the duck farm, the pigs & not to forget ALL of the gorgeous & well trained horses at DRR, you ALWAYS have something to look for forward too! Desert Rose Ranch has quickly become our second home- a place where we find peace, joy & a deep connection to nature & our horses. It’s our sanctuary where we spend meaningful time together , & we are so grateful for it. Every morning when my daughter wakes up, it’s one of the first thing she requests ‘Mom, can we go to the barn today?" Even at her age she recognizes how special it is! She’d spend all of her time there if she could (as would I) That says so much about the energy that your place holds…. Thank you for sharing it all with us! ♥️

My girls 6 & 2 both had an amazing time riding at Desert rose. The trainers are always incredibly patient with them and able to get on their level to help them feel comfortable, have fun, and learn a lot. We appreciated Christian and Hannah working with us this week! Pam, the owner, does an overall amazing job with the entire property and operations.

I've been riding at Desert Rose for about 15 years and absolutely love it. I think that speaks volumes! Desert Rose is truly a beautiful ranch...I feel like it's my second home. All the trainers have been amazing especially Michele who has been my trainer for many years. Michele, is highly knowledgable in her field and can teach riders at all levels. She has always made me feel safe and confident with my riding while advancing in my skills...plus having fun at the same time. She is one of the best!! Pam, the owner is fabulous and very accommodating. She does a fantastic job in providing a safe and beautiful atmosphere with wonderful horses to ride. She is very professional and understands that a rider might have specific needs or looking for a certain experience. She makes you feel like family. All the horses are loved and well taken care of. Desert Rose goes above and beyond to be sure all their needs are met. Anyone who is looking to ride would have an exceptional experience at Desert Rose. I have recommended Desert Rose to many of my friends and family and will continue to do so.

Desert Rose Ranch is THE place to go for riding and lessons. It is beautiful, managed very well, peaceful and all the animals are given the best of care. Pam works 24/7 to make sure everything is always in tip-top shape. She teams with Michele who is the best trainer you'll ever find. I've witnessed this classy operation for over 2 decades now and can't say enough good.

Desert Rose is a fantastic place to learn how to ride and fine tune Advanced Riding skills . You can go to the biggest shows in the country if you would like, and you can go to the local Jupiter show. And of course you can just come 🐎 ride learn and have fun. Fantastic instructors, wonderful horses, and pleasant atmosphere

I finally have the chance to pursue a lifelong dream of horseback riding, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Desert Rose Ranch. DRR came highly recommended by another local ranch, and from my very first visit, I understood why DRR is so highly regarded. I’m impressed by the quality of DRR’s facility, the level of care given to the horses, and the warm, welcoming and positive atmosphere created by Pam (Owner) and her entire staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The instructors are top-notch—skilled, patient, and encouraging. I’ve advanced more quickly than I ever imagined possible, and I owe that entirely to the trainers. In addition to riding, both Hannah and Christiane have been instrumental in teaching me proper grooming and horse care. Pam is a true gem. She and her team go above and beyond to ensure each rider feels valued, safe, and capable. Communication is clear, safety is always a priority, and there’s a strong sense of community where they treat you like family. If you’re looking for a place to learn, grow, and fall in love with horses (or rekindle that love), this is it. If you’re looking for a place to board or lease your horse, this is an excellent place to do so.
