Our son wanted to try horseback riding for his birthday, so after searching the area, we came across Meadows of Mendon Stables. We are very happy with our decision! The owner is super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and you can really tell that she is passionate about what she does and loves her horses. If you or someone you know wants to give horseback riding a go, we highly recommend Meadows of Mendon Stables. We will definitely be back!

I made a reservation on line for a trail ride for my three granddaughter.. one is special needs.l left my email and phone number...i didn't receive a response so after 2 weeks i called the number on the website..left a message with my email and phone number..after a week still no response..so i called again to check reservation...no response at all...i don't think this is good business not to respond...i was quite disappointed as its hard enough to find a place for trail riding.

I have been on and off riding at this barn since I was 6 years old. Some of my closest friends and fondest memories throughout my childhood were made here growing up. Miss Amy cares so much about all of her furry friends and clients and gives her all to her farm! Still 20 years later, I love coming out to the farm and reliving all of those memories ! I recommend this farm to people of all ages!

Love these stables!! A great family owned business that cares about you and your needs! Ms. Amy is so thoughtful and always making sure you are having a great experience. So glad I had such an amazing time and will definitely be back soon!

I started riding when I was 5 years old and at first I nervous but then I fell in love with the horses at the Meadows of Mendon stables well taken care of the horses. I love riding there and being with Ms. Amy and the kids at summer camp definitely recommend bringing your kids to summer camp .

Meadows of Mendon Horse Stables has provided such a positive environment to enjoy and learn to ride with confidence and respect for the horses. We first encountered Meadows of Mendon when we wanted to provide a birthday surprise for our granddaughter! Ms. Amy was so welcoming and accommodating when we made a last minute appointment to ride as we were cancelled from another stable unexpectedly. We are so pleased with our experience that we had to continue with riding lessons! we are so grateful to have such a great place so close to home! Thank you!

My daughter and a friend attending camp last week and I was very upset with several aspects. I picked up the girls the first day and they both gave me the run down of their day; stating several times the horses were skinny, poor health, several were lame and stalls dirty. Both girls ride several times a week at another barn but had wanted to spend a week and ride other horses so are very familiar with animals and their care. They also stated they spent the majority of the afternoon cleaning the dirty stalls as they volunteered to clean them up. Along with the neglect of the horses they had two cats in a small cage with no water or food. One of the girls let Ms Amy know that one of the cats had a large tick and response they are feral and that she was aware. Absolutely not the right answer for these cats. As for the program the girls were looking forward to several fun activities stated on the website such as - Jumping, barrel racing, cross-country course riding were a few. They are both very experienced in arena jumping and were excited! They never jumped once - not one jump nor barrel raced. They said the riding was unsafe with horses going different gates with some not knowing how to ride. My daughters friend spooked by another horse and she fell off. Which I get happens, not their first time but she ended up with a concussion and still having some issues a week later. Safety was not a priority. I would NEVER recommend this place and hope these animals have someone who actually cares about their well being. Lastly - not sure if she is just picking up horses at an auction and bringing them to her program but several had auction stickers still stuck on their rear ends. WTH.
