R&M Stables

Great experience!! Ron, Amy, and Mary were the perfect hosts and super knowledgeable. Instructions were simple and straight to the point and they were beyond patient with letting you work it out with your paired partner (horse). They made our party feel welcomed and calm and provided such an authentic experience that I would love to try again and I would recommend to anyone interested!!

This is such a special place ran by an amazing family. If you are looking for a real Western Experience - this is it. Great for corporate team building. For the kids, we really enjoy their leadership programs and summer pony camps - grateful to have this horse experience in our Nashville community!

I had such a wonderful experience with Ron as my instructor! He's a very good communicator and patient. Zippo was a good and well-trained horse. The arena, barn, equipment and facility was really top notch. I highly recommend you spend some time with R& M Stables. It is a wise investment.

This has been the most heart warming, authentic, and genuine experience in Nashville yet. Ron cares so much about our safety, education, and the overall experience while on his ranch. I truly am blown away by this place.. I will be telling everyone I know about R&M. This is what life is about, slowing down, enjoying life, and when you’re here, life stops outside and you’re suddenly transported to a place of a child like happiness. This is an experience I think everyone needs in their life at least once.

R&M Stables was a wonderful experience. Ron was amazing and gave us so much insight about the lovely horses. Lola and Trooper were so beautiful and sweet. My daughter bought riding time for my birthday for us to ride at R&M Stables for myself, my daughter and my grandson, this was my birthday request. It was the BEST birthday EVER. I would the give stable more than a five star review and recommend it to anyone who is beginning their equestrian adventures and looking for a stable that works really well with children and also looking for more advanced riding techniques. This was truly the best stables I have been to. As a horse rider from my past were were allowed to groom our horses, saddle them and enjoy the entire equestrian experience, more than just riding. We were at different skill levels. Ron worked really well with my daughter and grandson, helping them to learn and master the beginner skills of horseback riding and horse care. The event was just the three of us. He allowed me to do a little bit more than they did and I truly enjoyed riding, saddling and grooming my horse. He set up obstacles for us to maneuver around, which was interesting for all of us. I was allowed to trot and canter my horse. I enjoyed this much more than a trail ride where we would be just walking and that is all. The grounds and barns are fantastic, well kept and very nice.
