The owner is definitely one of those people you have to walk on egg shells around. Wish it wasn’t the case but, if she’s unhappy she will create that environment for everyone else. Unprofessional, judgmental and hostile. Look elsewhere for more affordable lessons and happy riding!

I’m sorry…but the owner of this facility is unnecessarily rude. I was up in the evening planning my kids schooling, I came across facility and sent out a message. Her response was " You woke me up after 10 PM. No I do not wish the teach your daughter " I would NEVER treat another person like that. It was so incredibly uncalled for, especially in a business sense. Someone who responds that negatively over something so small should not be teaching children, and I am glad that I found that out before I paid her to teach mine. Also, I feel the responsible thing to do (which is what do every night) when one does not want to be woken up, is to turn your sound off before you go to bed.

Crossroads Farm is a great facility! I've been riding there about two years and my riding has improved so much and my horses love it there. My previous trainer didn't get along with my mare, but Rachel has taken my mare from crossrails to 3'6" jumping in no time. She has also done wonders with my young horse and they plan on showing under saddle later this month. Her facility is huge. She has three gorgeous barns and mare motel style stalls as well. The three arenas are well groomed daily and she has updated jumps. The farm also offers huge grass pastures for turnout, which is hard to find in the desert. The barn caters to all sorts of riding levels. Rachel is one of few trainers in the area that actually rides and trains the horses, but then will take and win in the show ring. When she says she is an A-rated farm, it is true! We go to several rated shows a season, from Tucson to Westworld and even out of state. She also coaches the ASU riding team and has another team for middle school and high school.

We transferred to Crossroads farm with Rachel , and every moment has bee wonderful and exciting for our 14 year old daughter. Rachel has elevated her into a great level of the hunter shows . My daughter adores Rachel and her training technics. We adore her and the professional programs she has her in ! Thank you so much much for all you do

The amenities offered at Crossroads Farm, at first glance, appear and sound incredible. However, after several months of boarding there, I began to have a feeling that my horse was not being tended to per the contract. To verify that my horse was not being given his supplements and also not being turned out regularly, which I paid for, I devised a way to keep track of my horse's care and found out my hunch was correct. Even after voicing my concerns to the barn owner twice, nothing changed. I believe socioeconomics played a big role in the lack of care for my horse. As a school teacher, I was not one of the clients at Crossroads Farm whose horse was in training nor was I able to afford regular lessons. Neither of these variables should have diminished the care that my horse was guaranteed in my contract and the services I was paying to receive. I was a client at another hunter jumper barn for many years and never experienced this type of "you are less than" regardless of a training program, going to shows, or how many lessons I took. That barn made always made my horse and myself feel no less important than their other more wealthy clients. The same certainly cannot be said for Crossroad Farms.

I've been a part of the Crossroads Farm experience from the beginning. The things that set this barn apart can be hard to come by today...a true passion for the horses...a feeling of camaraderie...a sense of attainable goals no matter what horse you own or how much you can put into the sport. From the most basic of beginners to clients with high goals every one is given equal encouragement. In a world full of drama and hype it's nice to have a place where common sense rules.
