S&J Stable

I can not say enough good things about this place! Whether you are looking for a place to learn how to ride, get out and have some fun, sharpen riding skills, or if you are looking for help with your horse - this is the place! The horses here are very sweet and take good care of their rider. Jess (owner, trainer, instructor) is extremely patient and goes out of her way to give each person the individualized attention they need. I am a better rider, archer and horse owner since we decided to start coming to S&J!

I called to inquire about a trail ride. The lady who answered was rude and abrupt. I said I was looking for information on the trail ride. She literally just said "we don’t do trail rides" in a rude tone as if I was stupid. and I said "oh sorry, it was on the list so I thought you guys did." No "sorry" or anything. She just hung up. Sorry it was your mistake. Glad we didn’t end up doing anything with them if that’s what the first interaction was going to be like. Dodged a bullet. It was on the list on their services with google as well as on their website. I’m not mad they don’t offer it anymore. I’m just mad at how people act. Especially to potential clients

I had an amazing time riding horses here! I rode Cheyenne and she was super gentle, and we fit perfectly. Its a great property and very safe. I had a BLAST. Will be back to see Cheyenne soon! Thanks everyone!

Had my first class with Jessica last week. WOW what an experience. I had Toby as my horse and he is absolutely amazing. Such a gentle horse! Going back this week for the second class. Woohoo! I would definitely recommend anyone interested in horseriding to this place!

The animals are well taken care of and the experience has been a great learning experience with a great instructor and the people is very polite most likely will do it again

What a great place to enjoy the outdoors and learn some new skills. I was drawn to SJ Stables after reading about some of the work they do with Veterans and figured why not try to learn archery from horseback, even if it ended up being just a one time experience. After my lesson last night with the owner, Jess, I can't wait to get back and try it again. She is a friendly, easy going and patient instructor, the horse (Rio) was awesome, and the atmosphere was just beautiful! Definitely an experience I would highly recommend!

My friend and I visited this business this past Wednesday. We had an awesome experience and the owner Jackie was great to work with in setting up our appointment. We were both beginners and the horses we rode were gentle and extremely safe. Our riding experience will be quite memorable and we can’t wait to go back again. Our guide was very patient and her ability to understand and adjust to our level of riding was greatly appreciated.
