Full Moon Farm

I can’t say enough good things about Full Moon Farm! I’ve been riding for 13 years and the past 3 have been at Full Moon. They are the most safety conscious barn I have had lessons from. They "Woah" train all of the horses. Full Moon has a great riding program that is perfect for kids and adults of all levels. The instructors are all very professional and knowledgeable. They have a lot of great horses that are fantastic to ride. They even have larger horses for plus size riders like myself. It’s a fun place to be and you will make friends too! The makeup policy is flexible so that you aren’t just out your money but can ride in another lesson if you provide advance notice. They have an indoor ring so you can still ride in inclement weather. There are other barns closer to me, but the lesson program at Full Moon Farm is worth the drive.

I am so glad I found FMF after moving from Atlanta! It was the perfect place to get back into eventing after many many years away. Great instructors, working students, and clinics. Love that they have onsite shows, well cared for lesson horses, and everything you need to get started.

My grandson had a great time at the Pony Playdate today. This was his first time riding a horse. The lady in the picture (forgot her name)was so patient and gave great instructions. He was very excited and requested more lessons.

What a wonderful farm and community! If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to ride, this is the place. As a nervous adult newbie, I visited Full Moon Farm this week and had the most fantastic experience. From the care and tending of each member of the team - my helper Kelsey, to my excellent instructor Christine, to owners Karen and Stephen, and Roxy, the horse I rode….all the absolute best! It’s such a beautiful landscape and place to visit! Thank you Full Moon Farm! Ever grateful!

I highly recommend Full Moon Farm! It is perfect for riders of all ages and abilities. I returned to riding after a 28 year break and I was a little nervous about what to expect. As soon as I set foot on the farm I knew this would be my place. The school horses are well trained and a pleasure to ride. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and very clear when teaching. They give great feedback and are always encouraging. The other riders and working riders were so helpful and kind to me as I was learning how they do things there. This barn has a terrific uplifting atmosphere. They are all about great experiences and advancing you as a rider safely and responsibly. Whether you are looking to start riding for the first time, return to riding or perhaps get a child into riding, this is the place to do it. Luckily I live close by, but I would drive hours to come ride here. I feel so fortunate to be a part of this barn.

My daughter started at Full Moon Farm after she had just turned 4 years old. The coaches and staff were very kid friendly, helping her to not only start to learn how to ride but also in learning how to care for the horse, tack up, horse anatomy and fun games to do with the horse. The atmosphere is safe and educational while also building horsemanship and self confidence. They also do birthday parties and camps for kids where all get to experience a ride, which they all seem to love. She is now 11 and rides every day, loving the continued learning and acceleration in her riding and horsemanship. Their Farm Family Shows and Horse Trials are great events and run very well with great staff and volunteers. Great place for all.
