Lonna is amazing at what she does. She is positive with the kids she trains. When my daughter first started you could tell she was terrified, but by the end of her first lesson she was relaxed and having a great time. She looks forward to seeing Lonna and her boys every week.

Lonna has many years of experience with teaching various levels of riders and training horses. She was an excellent teacher/trainer for my daughter who had been around horses her whole life but needed formal training. She was extremely flexible and accommodating with scheduling. She was always willing to go above and beyond! She was at every meet to help instruct and coach my daughter while she was a part of OHSET. Lonna also found other groups for my daughter to ride with to him more experience. Lonna cares so passionately about her students she even became like family to our family. I highly recommend her services!

I’m a 24 year old adult getting back into riding after years off. Lonna has brought me back into the horse world, and is giving me the proper lessons I so dearly desired and needed as a child. She is a true horse woman, and instills proper horsemanship, handling, saddling, and care for equines, NOT just riding. She is a true friend to horses, and it shows in the way she teaches. If you want a personable trainer with a ton of knowledge, a true talent with horses, and someone to build your horsemanship for years to come, she’s your gal!

Lonna is very friendly. She helped my kids gain confidence with being around horses and helped start them in their riding journey. We moved out of the area so we weren't able to continue lessons but I would go back to her in a heart beat. My kids miss her as well. Highly recommend!

Lonna is an amazing teacher, she is always focused on who she’s teaching. She teaches in a very positive and encouraging way. She understands my 11 year old daughters love for horses and helps her get better and more confident each week.

I can’t recommend Lonna and her horses enough! If you’re a person who is looking for lessons it can be confusing and intimidating but Lonna makes the process so easy and smooth. She cares about your safety, introducing you to calm and beautiful horses, and of course your riding technique. It’s clear that she’s an experienced horsewoman who cares so much about passing on her knowledge in an effective (and so fun!) way. We took a seven year old girl to meet Lonna and her gentleman Bubba. It was the first time this little girl had seen a horse! She was instructed on grooming, hoof care, saddling, leading, mounting, and riding! While in the saddle, Lonna taught balance and connection between horse and rider; as the lesson progressed Lonna could see the little girl’s confidence growing and though it may not be for every first rider, Bubba took her through all his smooth paces. Ultimately, the experience was an unforgettable memory in a lovely stable (indoor arena), with a first class horsewoman. I called five other places in the area and am so happy Lonna got in touch and had availability. After trying many, many instructors throughout the years, i’ve found that Lonna has been the best one yet. She not only has taught me amazing horsemanship skills, but also does a great job at bringing out confidence, as well as passion in my learning.
