Cross Creek Stables

My daughter and I just finished our first ever horseback riding lesson at Cross Creek stables and it was amazing!! We were warmly greeted by Emma upon entering to ensure we knew what was expected for our riding lessons. She also introduced us to the Instructor's Helpers. Mine was Sara. Sara did an outstanding job ensuring that I was comfortable with my horse, aware of proper safety measures, and that I was at ease with the riding lesson at all times. Sara was also super encouraging to me. All throughout the lesson, she helped me better understand how to navigate All the things with the horse, Romeo. I was so nervous and so afraid at first, but by the end of the lesson I felt empowered, accomplished, and fulfilled. If you have never ridden a horse in your life, or want to get back into taking riding lessons, you need to come here. I was also really pleased with the lesson itself. The Instructor's Helpers helped us with our horses, but there was a Main Instructor named Sarah, who was calling out activities for us to complete and encouraging us along the way. The facilities are amazing, the horses are wonderful, and all of the staff are really great people. I'm so grateful that I had this experience and got to share it with my daughter today. I love this barn so so much!!! i’ve been riding here for 7 years and i’ve have learned so much and have been givin so many amazing opportunities. the volunteers are amazing and so is the staff! the horses are super well kept and loved. the staff keeps the barn very very clean at all times and everyone is super welcoming and kind!! i 100% recommend cross creek stables!!!!

We love cross creek stables! When we moved here earlier this year my 8 year old suddenly was dying to take horse back riding lessons. After calling many different barns with little luck I found Cross Creek and I'm so glad I did. They are truly geared to teaching children how to ride. I am not an equestrian and know pretty much nothing about horses. I needed a good barn which would teach my daughter everything she needed to know and be safe doing it. I love the instructors at cross creek. They are great at managing different ages and riding proficiency in the same group lesson. The lessons are super affordable and they have several time slots to choose from almost every day of the week. It makes finding time to ride super convenient. I love that they offer students the ability to be helpers during other lessons for a discount on their tuition. The facility is well maintained and the main riding area for lessons is covered with fans so no matter the weather the lessons can happen. The horses all seem to be well taken care of and great with children riding them. We attend weekly lessons as well as a camp this summer that my daughter loved. We have had a great experience at Cross Creek!

This has been an amazing experience for my daughter over the last three years. She has grown and thrived in the Cross Creek Stables environment. She has learned so much about taking care of horses, what it means to be a horseman, and developed life long skills. Thank you Cross Creek for helping her succeed with horses and in life.

My daughter has been attending camp and classes for the past few years and she loves it! The instructors are kind and knowledgeable. They teach so many lessons beyond just riding, they teach them how to care for the horses too. I highly recommend Cross Creek Stables!

We have been taking part in weekly lessons for nearly a year now and could not say enough great things about Cross Creek Stables! The lesson instructors are kind and work great with the kids, the horses are precious and treated so sweetly, the teen volunteers are fantastic role models for the littles, and the whole staff is understanding when life surprises you with scheduling conflicts. Our experience has been amazing!
