Lone Star Horsemanship

My daughter had the 1 hour horseback riding lesson and she said the hour went by too fast! She had so much fun riding and learning about Lady! David was a phenomenal and personable instructor and we will definitely go back when we're in town! I'm glad I chose a smaller, more hometown business instead of a huge establishment. p.s. Lady is the sweetest horse ever!

I never rode a horse before and let me tell you, after my visit I feel knowledgeable and confident to now call myself a cowgirl! When I first called for my appointment I thought Dave was mean lol... he's just not good on the phone. He's really pretty awesome. Dave is a wonderful instructor with a wealth of knowledge about horses. The place is clean and does not smell like horse poo as I expected. My birthday felt even more special thanks to Dave and Lady. I highly recommend Lone Star Horsemanship.

I had a fantastic time! I felt safe and well prepared for my first time on horseback. I was instructed on my seating, guiding the horse, and how to walk and trot the horse. The mount, Lady, was very sweet. I highly recommend Lone Star Horsemanship!

The negative reviews for Dave and his business make me sad. My husband and I rode horses with Dave yesterday and had the best time. Dave is a little gruff via text but super kind in person. He loves his horses. I read one review that said that they aren’t taken care of and that’s just a lie. I’m so happy we booked this! Dave is a kind, country guy trying to operate a small business. I wish people were more understanding. I would recommend this experience ten times over.

Dave is a great instructor and my kids love him. He is very laid back and works well with all personality types. One of my daughter's in more head strong and he just laughs and works with her to get the desired outcome. I highly recommend Lone star.
