AP Horse Training

I came to AP horse training in 2022. I had just bought my horse who did not respect me and didn’t listen to me. Lexi taught both me and my horse everything- and then even got us competing in the local Western Pleasure show! AP horse training was the by far the best investment I ever made (besides my horse, of course). I strongly recommend this training program if you are a beginner like me! Now competing in other mounted sports and it’s all thanks to AP Horse Training I got this strong foundation in horsemanship. Thank you!

My daughter has been taking lessons through AP Horse Training for several years! Instructors are respectful, knowledgable and able to teach both English and Western styles. Private and group lessons are available. Good horsemanship, riding safely, and arena etiquette are both taught and modeled at AP Horse Training. Our family has loved our experiences with AP Horse Training and would highly recommend it to anyone!

My daughter's instructor, Brooklin, is AMAZING! She is so knowledgeable and explains the 'why' along with the 'how.' She is patient and always gives positive criticism. She constantly has a smile on her face. My daughter is having so much fun at the same as learning, and that is entirely due to Brooklin's attitude. She makes it so enjoyable. Also, I noticed the owner, Lexi, was setting a good example by wearing her helmet while riding and that, to me, is one of the most encouraging things I've seen there. I'm glad they put such weight on safety measures and influence the students to follow those rules as well.

AP was so awesome to work with to get my 7 year old signed up. She has loved her lessons so far and I have loved that they allow her to be so hands on right from the start.
