My kids have absolutely loved every lesson at Wild Heart. The entire team is so kind and welcoming. The instructors are experienced, knowledgeable and are very encouraging. The horses are gentle and well cared for. The new location in Apopka is absolutely amazing — the larger property and spacious arena make riding even more enjoyable. The whole place has such a warm, relaxed atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to learn, build confidence, and just enjoy spending time around amazing horses! Highly recommend!

Very accommodating. All inclusive lessons. Consistency is an area of growth. Instead of tracking progress, every week they ask, "what would you like to learn" or "what number lesson is this for you" or "what did you do last week?". For a child these are difficult questions to answer. Different horse and different instructor each week makes continuity a struggle if there is not adequate documentation of each lesson. Which I assumed there would be, since they accept the Step Up scholarship. They do have extensive hours with a lit arena for the evenings and a newly covered arena for rainy days. We are paying $100/half-hour riding and half-hour horsemanship w/o the scholarship.

Wildheart Riding School in Apopka is such a wonderful place! The property is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-kept, and the kind of setting that instantly makes you feel relaxed and excited to be there. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they truly care about both the riders and the horses. Everything is clean, organized, and professionally run. If you’re looking for a riding school with a great atmosphere, kind instructors, and a gorgeous facility, I highly recommend Wildheart Riding School!

We attended Basic Horsemanship as a homeschool group of 22 (children and parents), and it was an incredible learning experience. The group was split so everyone received hands-on instruction and personal attention. The instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and engaging. Our kids learned about riding equipment, met different horses, fed them treats, practiced safely leading a horse, grooming, and then enjoyed riding while learning simple skills and confidence-building activities. Everything was interactive, educational, and respectful. The young instructor in particular was outstanding with the children — clear, supportive, and encouraging. We’re excited to return for our 1:1 lesson!

I’ve been really impressed with WildHeart Riding School! The instructors I’ve worked with so far have all been amazing - knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. The horses are wonderful and well cared for, and the whole place has such a beautiful, peaceful setting. It’s also an easy drive from Windermere, which makes lessons super convenient. I’m on my third lesson now as a previously experienced rider getting back into it, and I’ve also inquired about doing group lessons and trail rides, which I believe they’ll be offering in the future — something I’m really looking forward to! I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to ride again or start fresh.

I went for an intro lesson and it was so fun, I booked two more lessons! The staff is very nice and are amazing when it comes to teaching. I’m very excited to come back! They also have the cutest dog that roams around and he’s the sweetest little guy

I’ve been in lessons for 2 months now and I haven’t enjoyed anything this much ever! Every class is so fun, the horses are gorgeous and so well trained. The facility is so clean and well maintained and there is just an overall happy vibe that I can’t quite put into words! I’m so happy here; my favorite trainers are Kristen and Kaitlin - they make the classes so fun and I feel like I’m progressing so much!!! -Elizabeth Woollcombe-Clarke
