Oasis has been my barn home for over 6 years, was well as my daughter's. We both learned to be strong, confident riders under the training team of Colin and Janeen -- They handle the riders and the horses with the utmost care. They are not just trainers, but family. Colin and Janeen keep the traditional American hunt seat riding style alive. I've been apart of their barn since the very beginning and I cannot say enough great things about them. They have helped me accomplish so many of my dreams and they have also taught me so much, in and out of the saddle. They are incredibly talented at finding the right horse for all their riders, they are great at teaching the mechanics and importance of equitation, and they have an excellent approach to training horse and rider for the competition ring. Our daughter joined Oasis Farm after another trainer recommended it. The experience has been nothing but positive! Colin and Janeen are amazing trainers! I have been at this barn for five years and cannot stress enough that Colin and Janeen are a special place for anyone to join. With so few trainers teaching the true art of classical English horse riding anymore, it’s been such a pleasure working with Colin and Janeen. I’ve been studying under them for nearly 10 years now and I swear it’s just flown by. Not only do they know their craft inside and out, they know how to make it SAFE and FUN! A big part of their success lies in their ability to meet each horse and rider exactly where they are and develop an effective improvement plan.
