Haven Hill Farm

Kathryn is the best trainer and farm owner I’ve ever met. She helped me find my first horse; a talented Lusitano/Andalusian mare trained in classical dressage. Haven Hill Farm has great facilities including a full-size dressage arena, working equitation course, round pen, and trails around the paddocks. Boarders also have access to country roads and many miles of wood trails to hack around the property. The quiet and friendly environment is perfect for those who just want to become a better rider and have a good time with their horses. Kathryn also allows haul-in for lessons and she has many high quality horses for lessons and lease. I absolutely love this place!

Kathryn is a wonderful horse trainer and a truly kind person. She is teaching my wife and me classical dressage, with the horse’s comfort and balance most important. She runs an efficient and safe operation and loves to teach true horsemanship. Anyone who says different is not being honest about her. Her formal outdoor riding ring is superb in all weather and training horses on the trails is a priority. She has even gone to personal expense and installed fencing so a boarder could have a private paddock for his mare who couldn’t get along with other horses. She always goes above and beyond in her efforts with people and animals.

Kathryn is a lovely person, inside and out. She has taught me a better way to ride and is always concerned about both the horse and me. She adores all her animals and is a superior horsewoman. She has several well-trained and friendly lesson horses. She runs a great farm with other friendly horsey people around.

Haven Hills Farm is an amazing place to visit and ride. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a wealth of experience as both a dressage rider and teacher. She teaches horseback riding with the same care and attention that I would use to teach a violin lesson. Every horse at the farm is treated with love and respect, and their diets are thoughtfully tailored to their individual needs. I’ve witnessed how all boarders and riders are treated like family, making it a truly special place to be.

I absolutely adore Haven Hill Farm and the barn owner! Kathryn is the owner/trainer, and will cheer for you and your horse every step of the way. I always feel so encouraged in my lessons, and I love how I'm always learning something new about horses through Kathryn's experience and insight. I also love how the horses spend the entire day out in pasture with their friends where they can play together and be horses. Kathryn takes care of each horse as if they're her own, and she makes it her top priority to make the horse and client feel right at home. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Beautiful horse farm. Great place to board your horse or take a lesson. Close to Lexington. Easy access for large or small horse trailers. Highly recommended!
