Sunflower Meadows Equestrian

I started bringing my son to Sunflower Meadows this summer and he absolutely loves it. The 1:1 time he gets has improved his confidence and skills so quickly! The facility is beautiful and the staff is wonderful.

I’ve been riding at Sunflower Meadows for almost four years and it's been a great experience! The horses are sweet, forgiving, and very patient with their riders; my favorite horse is Brogi! The facility is super pretty and the historic barn is super interesting to explore. I ride with coach Nikki and I cannot recommend her enough! Nikki is my riding instructor and my coach for the RWU equestrian team. Nikki is INCREDIBLY intelligent and is an expert in horses and the world of riding. She's always willing to share her knowledge with her students and every conversation with Nikki leaves me with another fact about horses I never knew. Nikki has an incredible upbeat attitude and has an infectious enthusiasm for this sport that creates a very positive environment for her students. Nikki has helped get me over some of the most difficult anxieties and fears and I cannot recommend her enough for anyone who struggles with anxiety! Nikki offers very encouraging and very good criticisms for improving her students' riding. Each lesson with Nikki meets exceptional quality and is well-structured to fit the needs of her students. Nikki deeply cares about each of her students and always works to help students create and improve with their goals. I strongly recommend Nikki as a trainer; she's the best!

I’m coming into my third year at Sunflower Meadows and cannot tell you enough how amazing this barn is! Everyone is so supportive, kind, and hardworking, especially Coach Ashley, who is the coach for the Wheaton Equestrian Team, who I have been lucky enough to be trained by for the past 2 and 1/2 years! She is such a talented rider herself as well as just such a great person and incredible coach! She has absolutely gone above and beyond for this team and we are so incredibly lucky to have her! She has really helped everyone on the team become even better riders and is constantly giving praise and words of encouragement to everyone! She stuck with us through thick and thin and personally taken time out of her day many a time to help out members of the team outside of lessons and shows. She really cares about her riders and everyone’s safety and feelings. I cannot praise her enough and the team and I are so grateful to her! Thank you Coach Ashley!

Such a great facility and community, everyone is very welcoming and nice. I’ve been riding with Nikki for about a year and a half and she is great, very patient and truly cares about her students. The horses are all amazing and very well taken care of!

I have been riding with Lindsey for over 6 years and have had the best experience, she has helped me bring along a baby TB and we have been through many tri colors at local and rated shows throughout the years. The best barn family!
