South Park Stables

We went there for a birthday party, there wasn't much room for the party group but the kids loved the horses. The gray-haired women who work there have no patience for kids. They continuously yelled and screamed at them, which in turn made the kids want to do opposite of what they asked. When it came to riding the horses, the kids got to ride around for about 3-5 minutes in the barn before the next kid rode. All in all I say it's nice because you could bring alcohol which made it better. But if you don't want your kids yelled at, don't come here for a party.

Maureen and her staff (especially Alex!!) are just incredible! They take such good care of my horse. What the facility lacks in turn out is 100% made up for with quick access to the park, competitive prices, and superior care. I won't ever be boarding anywhere else in Pittsburgh. Thanks guys!!

The staff people were excellent. They came through for us in a pinch for a basic pony ride situation that really made our two little girls happy. Our little ones had been exposed to horses and began to take early exposure lessons when we lived in Europe, but we moved back to US quickly and a lot changed. This little outing brought some memories and smiles to their little faces that made mummy and daddy feel good too. When able, we'll look to return to South Park Stables and see about getting them into a more formal program of learning hopefully... Thanks again from Stan & Jiajing.

I’ve been taking lessons here for about five months, and I’ve been nothing but impressed. Samara is an excellent instructor and I trust her completely. The stables are clean and organized, and the horses are well loved. Food, mineral, and meds are managed perfectly for boarding horses.

My daughter loves taking lessons with Samara at these stables. She is young (just about to turn 4), but she is already able to do so much independently. I look forward to seeing her grow her confidence and skills. Her love of horses has completely blossomed in just a couple of months of lessons.

Sara is the best instructor very patient an calm. Love all the different horses. Nice set up for lessons. Beautiful place. Parking lot is a little tight an rough.

I posted a review based on my personal experience. I tried to contact the owner several times to resolve the issue. She would not speak to me or return my calls. Now I am being harassed by employees and borders. At this point I am feeling like I should contact the Better Business Bureau and that I should file the magistrate complaint. Whomever would like to leave a review please feel free to. All you were doing by harassing me personally for leaving a review is making things worse for Maureen. I am no longer at the facility all has been said and done. I would like to move forward and stop being harassed. It's kind of funny you guys are like a chain letter as soon as I block one of you someone else starts. One of your own employees suggested where we should go and said she was considering moving her three horses well waiting for her barn to be built. Not everyone there is happy.
