My daughter has been working with Sam and Allie for over a year, and it’s been amazing. She’s not only learned to ride and care for horses but has gained confidence, independence, and curiosity. The supportive, encouraging environment they create has made the stables her favorite place, and their guidance goes far beyond riding lessons.

My daughter started riding lessons here at age 9, took about a year off and started back up again. To see where she started and where she is now, showing in both English and Western competitions beginning to learn barrels and jumping! The versatility available here is mind blowing. Sam and Ally are the most genuine people you'll ever meet. Sam knows her stuff and she pushes my daughter to be the best version of herself and Ally has the sweetest disposition towards her. I love the friendships my daughter has built with other riders and the atmosphere in general is very calm and safe even on the busiest of days. Highly recommend Sam, her heart is sincere and she continues to amaze me with her generosity and passion for not only the riders but her horses and everyone working with her.

I started working with Sam over a decade ago. I started as a beginner who simply wanted to learn how to ride a horse. I've been amazed at what I've learned over the years about horses in general and each specific horse I've ridden -- there have been many! Sam has a set of lesson horses that she can use in combination to teach specific lessons. And after I bought my own horse she taught me the specifics about my horse and how we can best work together Sam is able to quickly identify the challenge the rider and horse is facing. She is able to clearly communicate how to work to overcome those challenges. Sam is able to answer my endless questions and she always has a new idea about how we can continue to make progress. Sam creates a safe, fun environment where you are likely to have a number of laughs throughout your lesson. I recommend her completely.

Sam has helped both my son (age 8) and I greatly improve our riding. I feel really lucky to have found such a knowledgeable and honest trainer to help us both. In addition to riding instruction Sam helped me buy my first horse and has been training him as a reiner. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone, and I look forward to continuing to work with her for years to come.

Wish I could give negative stars.They had me taking lessons on a horse that was actively lactating (both instructors knew beforehand )multiple times I rode her. They arent very accommodating/respectful to veterans with PTSD. I wish they were nicer to their horses and veterans.

Sam is the perfect fit for me as my trainer. She reads you and your horse assisting in building your confidence and knowledge as a horsewoman. Sam meets you where you are at.

When my daughter and I first met Sam we had been floundering, trying to get a solid foundation with our horses with other trainers. Sam turned everything around in record time. She assessed our strengths and weaknesses immediately and then put us all into a program that gave us the skills and a much-needed sense of direction to really get the most out of our horses and ourselves. I have since gone to dressage and wanted Sam to continue to coach me but, in typical Sam manner, she put integrity ahead of income and told me honestly that she couldn't devote proper time to such an endeavor and still meet the needs of her other students. (As an aside, my new trainer knows Sam by reputation and has seen her work horses a few times and also thinks very highly of her). Lucky for me, my daughter is still with Sam so I get to visit with her and watch her work- it is always a delight and a learning experience. As for my daughter, she is now not only achieving her goal of being an accomplished horsewoman (High Point her fist time out with her new partner at a regional show!) she has blossomed with confidence, strength, savvy and sense of self that is just a joy to witness. Sam is more than a skilled and ethcial trainer; she is a smart, driven business woman, a HARD worker, and a wonderful, caring mentor for the students under her tutelage. I would recommend her to anyone (beginner through advanced) who wants to take their skill set and relationship with their horse to the next level.
