Absolutely loved the experience Lia was able to provide. Our session started with acquainting with our horses by brushing them and prepping for our session. Before riding, we did exercises in the ring to be able to self guide the horses. Once we hit the trail, we visited arroyos and gulches. Lia was more than awesome to accommodate by taking amazing photos during our time and finishing with a breathtaking sunset

After about 5 years of not riding, I was able to experience an amazing trail ride put on by these amazing trainers! I highly recommend these trail rides for riders of any skill level. The instructors are versatile in the way they treat and help riders of all levels (even when they are in the same group of riders). I’ve gone multiple times on different horses and every time offers something new!

My husband who is petrified of horses bought us both a trail ride with Lia and her son Austin. I’d ridden horses many many years ago and so it was great to have Lia understand both our levels. We loved Chaser and Clyde our four legged friends. Lia and Austin both gave us the explanation and confidence that we needed so by the end my husband was trotting and I had a little canter after many years! Would thoroughly recommend and we hope to be back again some time soon.

During a vacation to Santa Fe, I wanted to take the family on a horseback ride. Forever West and Lia were brilliant in accommodating us. Whether it was giving us assistance getting on the horses or instruction on how to ride a horse, Lia was patient, informative, helpful, and great at assessing what each rider needed. From the 13-year old nephew with autism to the overweight head of the family, everyone had a great time. Heck, both of them wanted to move out to Santa Fe so they could come back to Forever West daily. Highly recommend!!!

I had the pleasure of working with trainer Lia. She has beautiful horses. I had some trauma happen to me when I was younger, used to ride & since then I had not been on a horse. She helped me achieve that. She is patient, knowledgeable and was understanding of my insecurities due to my TBI.

Had a great experience learning how to horseback ride with Lia. Lia was very knowledgeable about her horses, showed us how to groom and prepare the horse for a ride, and was very patient with us as we were first time riders. When we finished our ride, we enjoyed being able to pet and feed the horses. $100 [excluding tip] for a 3 hour experience.
