I moved my jumper to Red Gate back in April last year and I couldn’t be happier!!!! My horse and I are both thriving in their program. There are so many things I love about this barn…..the care and training of my horse as well as the lessons are all top notch! I even started competing at local shows with Sammie and Jamie after a 10 year hiatus!!! The footing in the arena is impeccable!!! Plus they are constantly changing the jump course around so riders are challenged and refreshed. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to have found this barn. I have felt welcomed from day 1. Highly recommend!!!

My kid had several weeks summer camps at red gate farm and she said she really loves the horses and all the coaches so nice to her. After that she started taking lessons once a week, she loves horses so much and loves riding them and even loves to brush them, all the coaches are friendly and acknowledgeable, and I was considering to do my lessons once a week, highly recommended.

My daughter’s equestrian journey started with the summer camp at Red Gate that absolutely made her fall in love with riding and horses. This summer camp also was the beginning of a wonderful learning experience for her at Red Gate. Banu has been riding at Red Gate for 5 years now. I cannot thank Jamie and Sammie enough for the positive physical and mental changes we observed in Banu during this time. She became stronger both physically and mentally. The slightly unsure look she had when she first started jumping transformed into the most confident and glowing smile I have ever seen on her face. This transformation didn’t happen overnight — it was the result of Banu’s dedication and hard work. Jamie and Sammie were exceptional teachers, trainers, and mentors who empowered her to navigate the challenges and make it possible. Banu experienced being first place both on Biscuit and Clive, developed a strong bond with these wonderful horses, and learned the importance of being part of a team. Jamie and Sammie were there for her at every step of the way through challenges and successes; not just as trainers, but as compassionate mentors who loved and supported her like family. Thank you, Jamie, Sammie, and everyone at Red Gate—including the incredible horses-- who touched our lives. This experience was truly priceless!

Summer camp is actually about getting to know what a horse is. Not horse riding. No matter how many times kids take the summer camps here, programs/ things stay exactly the same. Nothing new. Small parking. No restrooms for kids. The show at the end of the camp is really unnecessary and horrible. Kids and the horses waiting under the strong sun, mid day, lining up 1 by 1, more than 1 hour - for a few steps on the horse; online show trying to justify the amount of money parents paid.

Redgate Farm is a wonderful place for horses and clients. They create a family friendly atmosphere where learning fundamentals of sport and horsemanship are combined. I always look forward to seeing this team at horse shows throughout the west coast. The owner is so entitled and Rude!! I stopped by one day to inquire about a lesson and she took one look at the way I was dresses and Judged me up and down. Said I needed to dress in expensive boots and britches to ride there! Just a snobby bit... How does she know what I have in my wardrobe.. OMG. Horse people like her are just Small and Rude!!
