What a great time! My wife and I did a half day with Debbie. Both of us are novices with little to no experience. Debbie is knowledgeable and warm. She took the time to determine our confidence levels and allowed us ample time to get to know the horses in a safe environment before proceeding out onto the trails. We reached out via email to inquire about half day rides and she responded promptly that she could accommodate us.

Amazing full day trail ride with Debbie! The spot she chose (JBR) had unbelievable scenery and we had the area to ourselves on a weekday. She had a great instinct for safety and when to let us push the horses a little more, she clearly cares for her horses. As a more experience rider, our ride was a perfect amount of adventure. This was the best day of my summer & I can’t recommend Rockin’ K enough!

My son has been getting riding lessons from Debbie for over 2 years now. Not only has his riding skills improved, but his confidence and pride in himself as well! She is great about recognizing the students tolerance levels and limits and explaining things in a way that makes sense!

HIGHLY Recommend!! I was referred to Debbie by a local, and I’m so glad I followed the recommendation! I was just passing through the area and had been hoping to go horseback riding—and Debbie made it happen on short notice. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to walk me through basic commands, adjust the saddle to fit me properly, and help me feel completely comfortable and connected with the horse. I really appreciated that she let me choose the kind of ride I wanted—whether a lesson or a trail ride—and even let me pick the trail. Debbie was a fantastic guide and an absolute pleasure to ride with. I’m so happy I had the chance to ride with her—such a memorable experience!

Debbie is an absolutely amazing teacher! My 10 year old daughter has had 2 one week sessions with her ( we come out from Boston 2 or more times a year) and it is hands down one of my daughters highlights from our trip. Debbie is meticulous with detail and teaches with patience, kindness, humor, and passion. My daughter has so much confidence in not only the riding basics, but in herself due to Debbie stepping back to let her approach tasks independently once she has shown proficiency in the skill. Thank you Debbie and we will see you on our next trip for more lessons!

I am a beginning adult rider who lucked out in finding Debbie! She is a great teacher who spends her time really getting to know you and then transferring that to her abundant knowledge of how to match people with horses. I can’t say enough about how even just a few lessons with Debbie can build your confidence and skills! She is kind, patient, intuitive, and a master teacher. I will always be grateful for the new world of horsemanship that she has opened for me!

This was by far the best riding experience we have ever had. Debbie was amazing and her horses were so beautiful and kind. I would highly recommend rocking K to anyone. We will definitely be returning in the future.
