My daughter has been riding with Amy for at couple of years now, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! Amy is kind, thoughtful, flexible, and a wonderful teacher. You can tell she has a special rapport with her horses, and teaches all aspects of horseback riding and horsemanship - respect, care, learning how each horse rides and responds. We'd highly recommend her!

Absolutely the best! The horse club with Amy is a great way for kids to get introduced to horses. They learn how to feed them, brush them, and, the best part, ride them. Amy is so kind, knowledgeable, and she is gentle with the kids. My son asks me nearly everyday if it's horse club day.

I volunteer with rescue horses in Petaluma and have been impressed watching Amy come up and work with them. When I found out I could take lessons from her, I jumped at the opportunity. For several months now I have been her student learning skills that were lacking on my end. Amy is so patient, observant, encouraging and supportive. I’m taking in what is being taught because of her calm and relaxed environment. With every lesson I feel more confident and am getting closer to independence in ground work, lunging, tacking, riding, etc. What I love most is the sensitive horsemanship that is woven into all we do. I’m very grateful for this opportunity to work with her and her beautiful horses Maggie and Quincy.

Amy is the best! She is incredible with both horses and kids and I’d honestly never consider taking my kids to anyone else. Amy has a remarkable ability to connect with students of all ages and skill levels. Lessons are always well-structured, safe, and tailored to meet individual goals—whether you’re learning to ride for the first time or preparing for competitions. Amy teaches not just technique but also a deep respect and understanding of horses.
