Finding the right trainer for Ace, our one and a half year old Australian Shepherd, felt impossible after several failed and disheartening experiences — until we met Manuel!! I highly recommend Manuel - he is a real deal expert dog trainer. When our 135 lb Great Dane - Loki - was a young, wild boy we went to Manuel for help. Manuel patiently guided us through a variety of training exercises that increased our understanding, control, and bond with Loki, who grew into a dog beach loving Californian. Before we went to Manuel we had gone to another trainer who had just made the situation worse. Manuel was the complete opposite and he showed my wife and I how to understand, lead, and control Loki. We are very grateful for Manuel's training and highly recommend him.

Manuel did an amazing job with my 5 month old Shelby. He is a completely different dog. I am very happy with the results that were accomplished in such a short time frame. I hesitate to label Manuel a trainer because he is so much more. It's not just about sit, down & stay. He gets into the dog's head & provides a sense of calm even when the dog is reactive. He took very good care of our 3 big dogs. Your dogs ultimately tell you about their stay & I observed how genuinely well they responded to him upon their return & most importantly, they came back healthy & very happy . I would highly recommend his services & will be using Manual in the future.

Manuel is a very experienced trainer. He understands the importance of educating the owner just as much as training the dog. He takes the time to insure the goals of the owner are met. We board our dogs with him as well. It is home away from home for them. I trust Manuel emphatically with my dogs. They are shepherds with high energy and he matches that energy to keep it fun and engaging at all time.

I have boarded my dog with them 3x so far and they are my go to for when my wife and I go on vacation. Manuel is very nice and knows how to work with every dog, he has a gift. He treats your pet like his own and now my dog loves to go with him. He gets excited when he gets picked up and it makes me know he is in the best hands possible so we can enjoy a stress free vacation. I'm very particular with who I allow to watch my dog and honestly when Manuel picks him up I feel like he is going with family.

Manuel has been training and boarding our "lively" German shepherd mix, Winston, for nearly nine years, and there is no one I trust more with his care and training. When Winston goes for boarding, he is so happy to see Manuel.. and I know that Winnie will get all the attention and love that he needs..
