Cadence Horsemanship

We had the pleasure to take our Girl Scout Troop to Cadence Horsemanship. They were absolutely wonderful, had incredible patience with all of the girls, and helped to accommodate our very large troop in two different sessions. The also took great pictures of the girls and provided them in a digital album to us after the clinic so we could share them with our parents. Another plus is they have other adorable farm animals on the property that the kids can pet like chickens, a pig, and a mini horse. I would highly recommend Cadence Horsemanship to anyone!

My daughter spent a week at horse camp with Cadence Horsemanship and had the most amazing experience! She came home every day glowing with excitement and full of stories about all the fun she was having. She especially loved spending time with the animals on-site, learning all about horses, and getting to ride every day. The camp offered the perfect mix of hands-on horse time, swimming, crafts, games, and making new friends. The environment was warm, welcoming, and so much fun for the kids. She’s already begging to go back for a second week—it’s safe to say she’s completely hooked!

Cadence Horsemanship summer camp has been an incredible experience for my kids. They loved every minute and learned so much about horses. Every student is treated like they are the only student, with one-on-one attention paid to all the students. There is daily riding time for all, and when the sun is a little too intense, they have horse related games or crafts. My kids felt like they were part of the Cadence family from their first day at camp. Our experience at summer camp led to one of my daughters taking weekly riding lessons throughout the year and even entering a few horse shows. With Kristin as a trainer, my daughter’s confidence has grown beyond anything I could have expected. We are truly grateful for Kristin and the Cadence team. I couldn’t recommend Cadence Horsemanship more!

Kristin and her trainers are fantastic! My kids have learned so much from them. The lessons are challenging enough for them to enjoy and perfect for the level riders that they are. I would recommend Kristin/Cadence to everyone!

We took a group of 10 girls (ages 9-11) to do their Girl Scout Horsemanship Program. It was AWESOME! The girls learned so much. The program was interesting and engaging. Every aspect was interactive and hands on. The girls learned the anatomy of a horse (complete with drawing the parts on a horse!), how to care for horses, what they eat, and how to ride. The session ended with the girls each getting a turn to ride a horse and practice some of the skills they learned. I highly recommend this program to all scout troops!

Absolutely the most amazing people and horses! I’ve never seen so much care and compassion from…well any event my child has done! That includes the horses too!!

Kristin is an excellent instructor, she leads each student at their own pace and celebrates their growth in skill. She teaches very clearly with a friendly and joyful approach, and her love & commitment to her horses and each student is very apparent. The camp they hold in the summer is fun-filled and careful of our desert heat.
