North Ridge Farm | Hunter Jumper

Amy is very fun to work with as a trainer/coach. Some of us love going to shows and others hacking around Rabbit Mountain Equestrian Center’s private bridle path. Love the big indoor during inclement weather.

Amy runs a great boutique riding program. If you are looking for a no drama, professionally run riding school I recommend Amy. She has a wonderful group of amateurs and jr riders who excel at any level. If you’re in Boulder county or surrounding areas I would check out her program for sure!

Having ridden and shown hunter/jumpers my whole life, I have ridden with many trainers. Amy Henze does a wonderful job of welcoming and supporting horses and riders in every stage of their journey. Beginners, and those who have "A" ring aspirations alike will fit into this program. Amy’s experience and knowledge from all aspects of horsemanship makes this barn a very fun, challenging, supportive and safe place for horses and riders who want to continue their aspirations in the horse world!

Amy Henze & North Ridge Farm is hands down the best Hunter/Jumper barn in Northern CO. My daughter loves horses and riding and really wanted to jump, but she is quite shy and had trouble connecting with other trainers. They would either not push her at all or yell too much, which shut her down. Her growth since coming to Amy has been incredible. She and her pony are thriving as a team and have moved up consistently. Amy coaches with the perfect mix of firmness, confidence, and warmth. She can adapt her coaching style to suit each pair perfectly. She genuinely cares for & believes in all of her students and horses. Her eye for detail and her insistence on mastering the basics show in all her students. The icing on the cake for Amy's program is the supportive, fun community she cultivates in her barn and the beautiful facility. Horses and people are happy, healthy, and successful under Amy's care and coaching. I can't recommend her enough!

Beautiful facility and amazing trainer. We board our horse and Amy is our trainer. We’ve been there for years and we are very happy with it. We can’t imagine being anywhere else.

I have been training with Amy since 2015. She is an amazing trainer. I always learn so much and feel like I continue to excel in my riding every time I lesson with her.

Top notch training with an easygoing atmosphere. Great facility, horses excel here.
