Emerald Ridge

Hillary is a wonderful instructor who gladly accommodates all ages and skill levels. My 6 year old daughter recently started lessons with her and has shown great progress with her skills and increased confidence. She looks forward to the lessons and really enjoys them. She is also currently having a blast at Hillary’s summer camp, which I would highly recommend as well. Having grown up with horses but not ridden much in the past 20 years, I have also enjoyed getting back in the saddle with Hillary. She has beautiful horses on a lovely farm with a positive, welcoming atmosphere - I’m so glad to have found her!

Our daughter has been a student of Hillary Carlson for the last year. This Summer she was able to attend horse camp, and it has been an incredible experience for her. The staff is knowledgeable and caring, creating a welcoming and safe environment. Our daughter has not only improved her riding skills but also gained confidence and made lasting friendships. The variety of activities has her excited to return next year. We highly recommend Hillary Carlson for a fantastic summer experience and for riding lessons.

My daughter has been riding with Hillary for almost a year and has made great progress. Hillary has been excellent with her. She knows when to be patient and when to push. This mixture has allowed my daughter to learn a lot in just a year. She will be joining Hillary's IEA competition team and we are excited to see her skill continue to grow and see where competition takes us. My daughters favorite horse is Glitter and Glitter is a great teacher because she can be challenging at times which gives my daughter the ability to learn and gain confidence controlling her horse. Hillary has a horse that is suitable for everyone at any age. In the past year I have seen my daughter's confidence grow and she is excited for her lessons each week. I am glad we found Hillary and would recommend her to anyone looking for riding lessons.

Hillary Carlson is a wonderful trainer and I would 1000 percent recommend her to anyone considering having her train their child or attend one of her camps. My husband passed away suddenly in March and she allowed our daughter Sienna to attend one of her camps at no cost as a kind gesture. Sienna came home on the first day with her passion for horseback riding ignited again. She has had such a wonderful time and looks forward to it!

My three children have been taking weekly lessons with Hillary for year’s. This week two of my children and two of their friends are attending her and her sisters weekly summer camp program. Everyone comes home with excitement about what they had learned during their day and what was happening in there lesson and whom they rode. I totally, strongly recommend this stables and program. Hillary is a outstanding coach and wonderful rider and role model for all of my children. I am even interested in starting up with the lessons for myself!

Searched the Powell/Dublin/Delaware area for horseback riding lessons and found Hillary Carlson LLC’s stable. Glad we did! Hillary is energetic, personable & has been great with my 6 1/2 year-old daughter! She’s excited to go to and is building confidence / learning more with each lesson. The property is very well maintained, clean and the horses are well cared for. Location is easily accessible from 315 or Liberty Rd, on Jewett.

Hillary is wonderful to work with. My daughters riding skills have significantly improved under Hillary's tutelage over the past year and a half. More importantly, my daughter is really enjoying the learning process at this riding stable. Hillary operates a safe and professional organization perfect for all skill levels.
