River Basin Equine Veterinary

The team here is amazing. We found them during a hard time having moved to the area and needing end of life care for our big pup. They provide exceptional care for all our pups and we would recommend them 10/10 times.

Our Lab had been vomiting his food daily and losing weight intermittently for over a year by the time we found River Basin. He had been misdiagnosed with a food allergy and we had been spending so much money on tests, special foods, supplements, procedures, etc. Turns out, after one checkup with Christine and Kirk, they did bloodwork, found the issue in his levels and got him on medication and correct diet and he has not been sick since. We owe them everything. Fantastic prices, experience, knowledge, and customer service. I'm referring all my pet parent friends.

Dr. Wilkin and staff are amazing! They go above and beyond for your pets and family! I can’t say how thankful we are that we found them! We have 3 dogs and she has been wonderful over the past couple years with them. We just recently had to have our oldest Dozer put to sleep and she made that an unforgettable experience for my daughter and I. She came in walked us through how things would go and then said a few words for Dozer as she helped him get his wings! She had so much meaning and thoughtfulness with her words and it was truly more than I thought would come from the experience. They really put their everything into the job and you can tell every time you walk in the door. I picked up Dozers ashes this morning and again felt the warmth they give to all of their clients. It feels like you’re a part of the family and that’s a good feeling when needing your animals cared for. Here is also a couple pictures of a card she wrote and mailed to us a couple days after we had to put Dozer down. Again totally unexpected above and beyond service. Thank you again for being great, our family can’t refer you enough!!!

Very good service and compassionate staff. My puppy, a three year old German Shepard got really sick really fast last Friday and honestly, I thought I was going to loose her. I took her to Dr Wilkin on very short notice and her awesome vet tech's along with the doctor sprung into action, checking her over from head to toe, finding a puncture would that was not visible under her thick coat. Then gave her an I-V and a few other shots, cleaned the wound and home we went. My dog seemed to be still in serious distress, and I didn't think she would make it through the night, but amazingly she started to take food and water the next morning and within two days was back to normal. Dr Wilkin also called me on Saturday morning with blood results from her tests and followed up again on Monday to see how she was doing, IF YOU WANT MORE THAN A VETRANARIAN, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm happy I was able to get in with Dr. Reese and look forward to working with her in the future!

She was AMAZING with my Moses. Moses is kind of bipolar one might say & very spoiled. At 1st he wasn't wanting any part of being examined, she immediately at that point asked for me to go to the lobby and it went 100 times better for Moses. He wasn't stressed or scared. He got his medicine and I got the advice that no other vet would

Love Christine!!! She is fantastic to work with and even sells heart meds in single tablets so my picky dog can try it first before shelling out for an entire pack we will not end up using.
