My teenage son loves working with Gina and has learned so much from her! He has gained so much confidence and knowledge about caring for the horses. I highly recommend Second Chance Ranch to anyone looking to get their child started with horses.

Gina is so patient and a wonderful teacher for any age group. She does amazing and also teaching the younger ones life skills that will help them gain confidence. I would recommend this business for anyone wanting to experience a day around horses, just know you'll fall in love with them!

My son has been taking lessons with Gina for several weeks now, and I cannot say enough great things about her! Not only has she been a dream to work with as far as my son goes, but she has also been gracious and willing to work with both my husband and I as well! I rode a bit when I was younger, but I hadn't sat on a horse in about 15 years. Gina was more than willing to give me some "refresher lessons" and allow me ride with my son during his weekly lesson. It has been "heaven on Earth" for me to be able to ride with her, as we are unable to have horses of our own at this point in time. I also need to mount via a mounting block due to several previous surgeries on my left leg/knee. She has been more than accomadating for that, and has never once made me feel judged for not being able to traditionally mount a horse. I've had negative experiences with that in the past, and it is extremely nice and refreshing to have a place where there is no judgement, only acceptance! My husband is new to the world of horses, and had never ridden before. Gina was more than willing to give my husband a "crash course" lesson on Saturday, August 24th. Once again, there was absolutely no judgement towards him or his lack of riding knowledge. Just acceptance, patience, and an enthusiasm to share the wonderful experience of horseback riding with someone who'd never done it! My husband was thrilled and absolutely cannot wait to ride again! Gina is a wonderful person, both in general and professionally! We thoroughly look forward to going to Second Chance Ranch every week, and enjoy our time there immensely! Not only that, but Gina has an truly deep love for horses, and for sharing that love of horses with other people! I will always, always recommend Gina and Second Chance Ranch to anyone who's looking for a place to get lessons for either themselves and/or their children!
