Austin Adventures

Great trip to the Grand Canyon. We had a great time touring around Arizona with Austin Adventures! They took care of everything and made it a breeze for us to enjoy our vacation. Brie, Megan and Steve were great company and had a lot of local knowledge to share. We will be taking another trip with Austin soon!

We had such a good time on our trip to Kenai Fjords and Denali for 8 days! We felt welcomed from the start by David, Jenny, and Milly. They made sure to teach us about the local history, geography, and native wildlife and peoples. I celebrated my birthday while on this trip, and there were little surprises around every corner to make my day feel extra special. When an emergency hit back home, Jenny went above and beyond to make phone calls and arrangements. From hiking to rafting and kayaking, this trip was full of adventures and exercise! This was my third Austin trip, and I assure you, it won't be my last!

My first trip ever with this company. It’s hard to express just how much fun this really was. Michael Engleman (Moose) and Derek Lynn do a fantastic job and worth every penny if not more. Great communication, great knowledge and all around fun guys. They’re great at relating to and making all ages feel relevant. They’re also not beyond asking us older kids about life experiences and advice. Truly felt welcomed and appreciated. The whole trip is well planned out and executed beautifully. This is the first time I’ve been to Alaska for an extended amount of time and it did not let me down. This is a wonderful company, a great idea for getting the most out of limited time. Had the wonderful opportunity to do this trip with my sister and brother in law who are Austin Adventures alumni. I really hope to be able to do another one sometime and Derek and Moose would work!😉

Just returned from an amazing trip through Banff/Jasper (adult only). We hade the best guides, Harlee and Ben. We saw amazing scenery, hiked beautiful trails, rode some exhilarating white water rapids and hiked a glacier. The accommodations were nice, transportation was new and clean. Be prepared to do a lot of hiking but worth every step. But the best part were the little surprises (on a silver platter)provided when you least expect them from Harlee and Ben. And in the end you get the photos taken along the way.

This was our first group trip with the company and it won’t be our last. Every detail was planned and it made for a stress free vacation. The fun and laughter we had getting to known the guides and each other made each day great. They had plenty of surprises along the way, which were a treat. The restaurants picnic lunches were great The hikes they planned were fabulous and we learned a lot from the guides. Steve Rogers , Brandan Starrs and Bryson Shafer were stellar. Well done !

Austin Adventures Rocks! We have now done two trips with Austin Adventures - Yellowstone and Banff & Jasper. Nobody does a trip as well as Austin Adventures. They plan every detail for you so that you can spend quality time with your family and new friends and can truly experience some of the most wonderful places on the planet. Our guides Keenan, Harlee, and Ben were a seemingly endless source of local information; they took us to the best places, and they were so attentive to our comfort and happiness. And we hiked a glacier! We are happy to be part of the Austin Adventures travel family, and we recommend it to anyone who wants to experience nature in a guided setting.

From the moment we arrived, our guides Harlee and Ben made us feel like part of the family. They were both incredibly knowledgeable, and throughout the entire trip, they shared fascinating facts about the wildlife, mountains, plants, trees, and bodies of water we encountered. Their passion for the area was contagious, and it made the experience that much richer. What stood out to me the most was how dedicated Harlee and Ben were to ensuring we had an incredible experience. They were always prepared, carrying extra water, snacks, and even surprising us with special treats along the way. Their attention to detail made a huge difference—especially during the more challenging hikes. They were also easygoing, fun, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. The views throughout Banff were absolutely breathtaking, from towering peaks to crystal-clear lakes. One of the most memorable moments of the trip was spotting a bear from a safe distance. It was such a thrilling and rare experience, and Harlee and Ben made sure we all had a chance to see it safely and from the right angle. The whole experience felt so immersive, and the guides helped us connect with nature in a way that felt both exciting and respectful. Another great touch was how Ben and Harlee were constantly snapping photos for us. They made sure we captured every special moment—from the breathtaking landscapes to the big smiles on our faces after hiking the Athabasca Glacier. It was so thoughtful, and we have some amazing photos to remember the trip by. As for the tour itself, the highlights were absolutely breathtaking. Hiking the Athabasca Glacier was something I’ll never forget, and the white-water rafting experience was exhilarating. Both activities pushed us outside our comfort zones in the best way possible, and the guides made sure we were ready for the adventure. The logistics were smooth, and we had just the right balance of hiking, relaxation, and exploration. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience the beauty of Banff. If you're on the fence about booking this tour, don’t hesitate. It’s worth every penny and more. Thanks to Austin Adventures, Harlee, and Ben for making this trip an adventure I’ll cherish forever!
