Circle A Home for Horses

Amazing place with an amazing mission. A pure circle of healing. This organization rescues horses from being slaughtered, nurses them back to health and finds some new homes. The others stay at the rescue, and at risk children come learn about horses and the benefits of equine therapy.

Circle A Home for horses is such an amazing place! I have been lucky to volunteer there for a couple of years and just cannot say enough good things about it. The horses are provided top notch care from a compassionate team of staff members and trained volunteers. Circle A provides extensive training and learning opportunities for the staff and volunteers to be sure everyone is able to contribute to the provision of that top notch care. The horses are provided quality veterinary and farrier services as well as dietary programs to address their individual needs. It is just such a gift to see these horses come into Circle A, often in terrible shape and to watch the transformation of their mind, body and spirit into the beautiful equines they are meant to be. As if that is not enough,, they also provide equine therapy programs for at risk youth. I could not recommend this rescue more!!!!

Circle A Home for Horses Rescue gives the horses, no matter where they come from, every chance to find their loving forever home. To take a horse in need of love and care and see its true spirit restored is priceless. Each horse receives expert care and dedication from staff and volunteers. I have been with Circle A for many years and I would not trade one minute of being a part of the rehabilitation and the mission of the rescue. Circle A is also dedicated to helping youth in need by providing professional therapy through experiences with the horses. The results are so heartwarming as you see the smiles it brings to their faces. Circle A Rescue Home for Horses is a special place for horses, youth, volunteers, and staff. It is all about the shared mission.

I absolutely LOVE this ranch. I started volunteering October of 2023, Ive been able to learn so much about horsemanship and medical checks, grooming, etc. I had very minimal experience with horses prior to finding circle A. Now i feel very confident working with horses. This place is amazing, the people are phenomenal. I highly recommend reaching out wether to volunteer or to adopt a horse! ❤️ you'll fall in love just like I did.

Circle A is on a great mission to rescue horses off the race track and from kill pins. They work hard to show the horses love and to rehabilitate them, so they can find their forever home. I adopted 3 amazing horses from them and now call Circle A family. If you are looking for a place to adopt from or just volunteer your time this is the best place.

When I visited Circle A the director was speaking with other volunteers negatively about a past volunteer. The director had never met me before snd I felt this was very unprofessional. The condition of the barn and pastures were in horrible condition with a large poop pile very close to the barn . The animals did not look in good shape and there was no food for the horses when I visited they were given only hay . She has allowed horses on a volunteer(s) property . She never checked up on the animals even after castration . She also never used Circle A funds for the care of the animals when they were not on her property . Several volunteers used their own money for the upkeep and welfare of the animals .

This rescue is doing amazing things. The volunteer care about these horses and provide much love and support. Many go on to find great new homes. Thank you all for the works you do!
