Cactus Rose Ranch

We have been with Cactus Rose Ranch for 2 years now. Our 11 year old daughter takes riding lessons and we also board our horse here. The Welch family is over the top! Great people with amazing knowledge and skills. I 💯 recommend the Cactus Rose Ranch for children, adults, and horses.

Great place to learn horsemanship, and a family business that wants people to love and learn the animals as well as the activity. Also understands each students needs and level, helped coach our daughter back from being extremely afraid to loving to ride again, after a fall off a horse(at a different facility). Highly recommend

Our group of over 50 just had an awesome day at Cactus Rose Ranch! The kids (and some adults!) enjoyed pony rides, hay rides, horse demonstrations, feeding the livestock, and even milking goats. All this against the beautiful rural backdrop of the Welch's ranch. Highly recommend for a fun day for your group!

If you're looking for lessons that will not only teach your children to ride but also give them the confidence and ability to work with horses in and out of the saddle then you've come to the right place. Dave starts from the ground up and teaches your children the right way. He's a wonderful instructor for all ages and his ability to connect with kids in a way they understand is unmatched. You truly won't find a more competent and skilled horseman than Dave.

I like the progression of the program. Good basic instruction to get you prepared to be a good rider. Safety is a big priority for Dave as well which is really important for kids and beginning horsemen.

Great place to learn Horseback riding. Mr Dave is a very knowlegable teacher. Also a great place to board your horse.
