I have boarded multiple horses at Schocharie Ridge at different times and always come back. My current mare was started by Sandy and has been at the farm for 12 years. She loves her turnout and she gets plenty of it here. They are out all night in the summer and all day during the other seasons. All this turnout makes for very happy horses. I am a dressage competitor and appreciate the indoor that keeps me training in all weather. I also like to relax and have fun out in the fields and trails. There are riders of other disciplines here and everyone is friendly and helpful. All the horses get regular care from veterinarians, equine dentists and farriers. Sandy will also provide additional care when needed, like taking care of my colicky horse when I was unable to be at the barn. I can feel confident that my horse is in good hands.

I have boarded my horses at Schocharie Ridge since 2010. Great care, great atmosphere, beautiful facility, lush turn out fields= Happy Horses and owners. The owner Sandy Kantor is a great horsewoman and a great person.

The owner and manager at this farm consistently go above and beyond to provide the best care for the horses. There is extensive turnout that is well cared for. If your horse injures itself they will contact you and provide the necessary care. 👍👍
