Oakwood Farm

My daughter has been riding at Oakwood Farm for nearly 2 years now. It’s her happy place, and her home away from home. The trainers are all extremely knowledgeable way beyond the ring. My daughter has not only made so much progress in her hunter & Jumper skills, but also horse care, team work, building confidence, and self awareness. Victoria’s horses are well trained, perfect for all skill levels. We couldn’t be happier here at this barn.

My daughter has been riding at Oakwood Farm for over two years and we absolutely love it. Being a multi-discipline barn, there’s so much room for growth, and my daughter has really excelled in jumpers since joining Oakwood. We’ve been very happy with her lease and have built great relationships with the trainers and the entire barn family.

We have been riding and leasing a horse at Oakwood for the past 18 months and have been very happy! This is a wonderful barn for beginners or experienced equestrians, with great trainers, a very good variety of horses to lease or just ride, and a fun show team with a great group of girls. My daughter loves the camaraderie with the other girls and I appreciate the sense of community with the other parents. If you want to show, you can show, it not, no pressure. Last show season, my daughter went from beginner in walk/trot all the way to jumping two foot hunters. We ended the season at the Crossrails Championship at Tryon International Equestrian Center and also showed in Aiken, the Governor Jim Hunt Horse Complex and the Carolina Horse Park!

My daughter has been riding here for two years now, riding total for 5 years. When she came to this barn her confidence was shaken. I can't speak more highly of Victoria and her staff. My daughter's confidence is back and she's riding to her best potential. My daughter feels supported not only by staff but by her fellow students and it's truly like a family. Whether you want to show or just improve your equestrian skills this place is a great supportive community.

I've been riding and leasing here for years and it's always been a great experience! The barn owners and managers are always striving to do best by the horses and their welfare above all else which is what I truly look for in a barn. They are flexible and will always find what works for you and your needs, and because of this I've grown so much as a horse person here!

Great horse farm for boarding, training, showing and consignment! They have sold 6 horses for me of the years and made sure they got great homes and tops dollar! They are very honest and hard working! I currently have 3 horses there now in training! A+ 10 stars can't recommend enough!

I want to write this review to share that being at Oakwood Farm has been the best experience I could ask for. I started riding and taking lessons with this barn last year. I have been taught horsemanship from ground to saddle, helped getting over certain fears, and it’s been absolutely therapeutic being here. I went from taking lessons to the owner helping me find the perfect horse. They helped me start him from ground to under saddle. I cannot put it into words how at home I feel here. This place is drama free, low key barn and everyone is encouraged to bring out their best. You really get to learn about yourself and how we ride our horses. I just wanted to write an honest review along with many others who have been at this barn for any period of time, some have been around for many years. It is disheartening to see negative reviews being posted by a mother using her child as leverage in order to hurt the barn’s long standing reputation that are far from true.
