Hollow Tree Ranch

We were visiting from Europe and I really wanted to see a horse ranch — I’m so glad we found this one! Jeff gave us such a warm welcome and we had a lovely chat. It’s an amazing ranch with plenty of space for the horses. If I ever come back to Texas, I’ll definitely visit again!

This place is the best. Jeff is a true horse whisperer and an excellent teacher. The facilities are top notch with 2 arenas and lots of stalls. If you're a novice and want to learn to ride or an experienced rider and want to get better this is the place to go. I highly reccomend Jeff and Hollow Tree Ranch for all your riding and boarding needs!

Hollow Tree Ranch is a serene place to spend time with the most peaceful and patient horses. The horses are so friendly that they walk up to you for a cuddle. My 6 year old confidently rides these gentle giants by herself. It’s a fun time for the entire family. The breeze is lovely and the area beauty seems like time stands still. ❤️

Thank you Jeff for making my daughter Jasmine bday Memorable today. She enjoyed riding rusty and we will be coming back soon with more apples. Even though it was a bit cold me and my husband enjoyed watching. Love the ranch and horses.

Deeply recommend Hollow Tree Ranch. Jeff walked us through horse riding for our first time. Smooth experience, great story teller, and personable hospitality. We did the Enclosed Arena Ride. The ranch is spacious and charming. The drive from North San Antonio is gorgeous.

My niece Brandi and I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff and taking the trail ride with Anna who was the best guide!! It was so much fun. The horses were beautiful and the experience was awesome!! Would highly recommend Hollow Tree Ranch to anyone looking!!

Unfortunately not able to leave a review about the Trail Ride because we didn't even get to go. I confirmed our trail ride days before and told by Jeff we were good to go. I had family in town and everyone was looking forward to it. We got to the ranch early for the ride and immediately not greeted. He was contacting the wrong phone number and we showed up and he took lessons instead of our trail ride of 6. He was not trying to accommodate us and walked away from us, took the horse into the arena and left us with no answers and dismissed us. We walked to the car and that was that.
