Lonesome Pine Equestrian Center

This is by far the best barn in Lubbock! They prioritize the horses and owners over everything! They were super helpful and amazing in helping me when I had a horse fall sick! The staff there are always amazing very hands on and willing to help as well as the owner! This place has been a blessing and is just a great place for boarding, lessons, races, and overnight stays!

I asked when there were available spots for lessons and all the lady said was "only the instructor knows their availability". She said she would call me back when the instructor was free, I never got a call back. So I called to ask and she said they have a wait and they take about a month or less to respond, I haven’t heard anything back for almost 3 months now and this isn’t the first time Ive tried to schedule lessons. Last year I tried to get lessons and the same things happened. Im just trying to get back into riding.

Lady on the phone was so rude that we couldn’t even make an appointment for lessons! I asked her if there were any available spots for Saturday and all she said was "only the instructor knows their availability". She didn’t give me the instructors number or anything. So I asked her how I could find out the information and she said she would call me back when the instructor was free, I doubt that she even took my number down because I never got a call back.

This is the cleanest barn in Lubbock as far as I have seen. New owners and management have made this barn a fabulous place to board your horse(s). The cost is way fair!! Lots of benefits to having your horse boarded here. Plus the staff are very caring when it comes to your 4 legged family member. Board your horses here knowing they are taken care of.

This was a great facility. We used this place for a Mounted Patrol school.

Liz is so friendly and patient with beginners and starts the work slow to get the rider comfortable with the horse. The horses are friendly and easy to work with and the lessons are definitely worth the money.

A great facility with great people, I've learned a lot here from Stephanie! I would highly recommend Lonesome Pine to anyone wanting to board their horses or increase their equine knowledge!
