The Campbell Farm

Campbell Farms was very good to me and my horse! Jessica cares very much for the security and safety of the animals there. It gave me much peace of mind especially because I wasn’t always able to get over there every day. The living quarters were great with her own personal shelter and outside area. Such a bargain price for what I got! I would absolutely recommend Campbell Farms for boarding in Layton. Thank you so much for everything!!

Jessica is great! We have had 2 birthday parties at the Campbell Farm and they were both magical. It is a peaceful little getaway located right off Fort Lane in Layton. Jessica provided picnic tables and chairs to enjoy food and cake. We had plenty of time for the kids to ride the ponies and the "tractor train" around the farm. The kids there that lead the ponies around were so sweet. I heard them taking to my girls about whatever silly things they wanted to say. The experience and memories are unforgettable.

Had my 3 year old daughters birthday party here, it was a great time! My family told me it was the best birthday party they've ever been to! Horse and train rides were so much fun for the kids. Definitely one uped all other birthday parties we've been to so far.

Brushed and rode horses on my birthday. We went on their day off, and they were still welcoming and so kind. All of the animals are very happy and well taken care of. This family is SO nice and generous of their time, full of love for their animals, and the animals they board. Nice property. Best day! Highly recommend.

All 3 of my kids took their very first riding lessons. We were only in the area a few months, but Jessica was amazing! She had plenty of ponies and helmets to handle multiple small children (my kids are 8, 6, and 4) at one time. One of the few places we could find in the area that allow 4 year olds to take lessons. All of the assistant instructors were great, staying close to the kids on their ponies. It's also reasonably priced. I believe lessons run from beginning of May until early October (weather dependent). We will definitely be going back if we're out in the area. Thanks again for a great experience!

I boarded my horse here and caught the owner giving my horse hay blocks, when I had paid for hay that she had grown. She gave the horses she personally owned her fresh hay. Everyone else’s horses received hay blocks. I confronted her about it and she tried to deny it. Also, I witnessed horses standing in water for days, (after it stormed,) that she was supposed to care for daily. She also rented an area to a guy who had brought in baby calves that were left in the summer sun (100 degree days) with very little shade. I think out of the 15 they all died but 2. I should have called animal control. Do NOT board your horses here! Worse place ever!

I’ve been riding here for four years and working for three and it’s been an amazing experience. I’ve learned so much from Jessica and her horses that I haven’t learned at the other barns I’ve ridden at. If you’re looking for a place for your child to learn to ride, and everything about horses, than this is the place. She not only teaches you how to ride but also safety and why you are doing the things you learn to do. Jessica always makes sure everyone, boarders and riders alike, are safe and playing nice in the sandbox.
