Sundance Riding Stables

Beautiful trails through the woods. I’ve always had a good horse here and have ridden for 10 hours prior. Horses look in great condition and some of them arrive as rescues. I arrived once alone and got a private ride where my guide allowed us to trot. Peaceful experience and will be back countless times. Price is incredibly low for the great value of this experience

I rode Bubba and he was so sweet and gentle. It was my first time riding a horse but I felt well supported by the staff. If you’re looking for a cool experience, try it! You won’t regret it!

We had an amazing time on the trails. The price was reasonable, the horses were enjoyable and the trail guide was great! The trails were relaxing, beautiful and safe. It made for a wonderful time with my daughter.

We love riding here in the fall for the great fall colors. Some of the trails were still closed from the storm that went through over a month ago but still plenty of beautiful trails

Took the girls out today for their very first independant trail ride at Sundance riding stables in Grand Ledge. The price was comparable to most stables in my experience, however they offered a family four pack that made the day very affordable for us at twentyfive dollars a person, for a savings of forty dollars which went towards lunch afterwards. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The horses were well cared for and of different experiences to match their riders personal abilities. The property was upkept and clean throughout the trails. Our horses for our ride were Apollo, Ricky, Chrome and Copper, all very well tempered and forgiving horses. We took a pony of our own for the trip out... and even got a few pics of her with the Sundance sign so she didnt feel left out. Be sure to visit sundance riding stables and dont forget to tip your favorite wranglers for a job well done.

I want to give a shout out to SARAH.. she was very friendly and welcoming. She was very knowledgeable. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be leaving this good of a review! When we arrived it did not feel welcoming at all.. I used the bathroom and the toilet seat almost made me hit the ground.. it was only held on by one bolt..and very dirty.. I let the front desk girl know and she didn’t seem to care. We went out to the barn and again not welcoming.. and we were very disappointed my 15 year old (will be 16 in 3 days) she was put on a very small pony.. Sarah was very helping with that situation and we went back to switch to the appropriate size horse! The horses were great, pricing is good. All in all we had a good time once we were handed over to Sarah! So thank you again!

Great first time Experience...Sundance Riding Stables operated by intelligent / hard working women..!!! Took the evening hour ride-along thru forest, along farm lands, swamps and pastures... Great family / couples / date night or just want to do something interesting. Bring mosquito repellent and have a camera on a neck strap..
