Windsong Farm

We drove past this place the other day when we went to the rodeo in Georgetown. My daughter and first wife told me that they have therapy animals there. They help children with autism and other developmental disorders. It sounds like a very loving and caring place. I would recommend people with children that have the affliction or any affliction that they take them to this place

Beautiful place to watch talented cowboys and cowgirls and all the pretty horses. Family time at an arena!!?? Can not get better than that!!!

Great place to go

I, like many other students/instructors, grew up at Windsong farm. Started riding at the age of five, became a volunteer in my teens eventually becoming an instructor. I was shaped into the woman I am today in so many positive ways because of Kelly Clayman and the Kelly's Kids culture. Kelly's character and principles and positive attitude shape every instructor and student to be better every day. On and off the farm! We work harder and challenge ourselves under her guidance and her wealth of knowledge. Want to build confidence? Looking to get your family or yourself into horseback riding? Does your child want to work around horses? This is hands down the best place to come and learn. Why? Because safety is taught first and foremost and we remind and teach all students to never become complacent, safety safety safety at all times. We teach students to have respect toward the horses, each other, AND have fun. I love watching the students cheer each other on! The school horses are well matched to each student. The instructors are kind towards each other absolutely zero drama no nonsense we are a team! Watching our students succeed, excel, and smile with pride on the back of a horse is our bread and butter. The Clayman rodeo is held annually in October if you haven't seen it you need to! There is also a roping school with Jim Bob Clayman. Both Jim Bob and Kelly have competed professionally. They are a wealth of knowledge combined. The facilities are well kept and safe. The school horses are very well taken care of. There are outdoor and covered arenas so we can ride rain or shine. The sense of community at Kelly's is palpable and I will tell you, I hold my head high as a Kelly's Kid (even though I'm in my thirties now!) Private lessons and group lessons are offered. Have you had a bad experience with horses? Come out to Kelly's and let us take away your fear and show you the calming affect horses have on us in a safe environment. They are amazing animals. And who knows maybe you'll be convinced to buy your own one day!
