Jocks Horse Farm

My horse has been full board at Jocks for over 5 years, never had any issues and have been more than happy with the care provided. Large, CLEAN barn, large lush fields with ponds, huge outdoor arena with barrels, jumps, poles, etc, round pen, miles and miles of trails…best of all, the horses get to be horses. My horse started colicking, owners noticed slight change in behavior and administered care until I could get there. They will make sure even rough boarder’s horses will be taken care of during times of adverse weather. Place has become my second home. Negative reviews should definitely be taken with a grain of salt..owners only ask that boarders follow simple rules which some people just cannot manage to do. Owners 100% love horses more than themselves! Pics added to see the lovely life my mare gets to live/how healthy she is throughout the year plus a few extras.

BEAUTIFUL FARM, huge acreage over 50+, herd turn out or individual, ponds to swim in! Beautiful newly renovated outdoor ring. Hosted events. And so many trails in every direction. The views of the horses are breathtaking but never mind the farm as well! Nothing beats the sight of watching a herd of horses gallop through the fields or all swim together in the pond. This is the perfect place for any age or type of horse to thrive. Whether it be a growing baby, performance horse or elder living out its days. So much enrichment all of the time. I’ve raised my horse here since she was a 18month old filly! She is always glowing. I’ve unfortunately had 2 personal bad accidents and every time my barn family was there to take care of my girl. They keep a watchful eye on ALL of them and CALL as soon as a problem is happening. My horses life has been saved many times due to her just existing due to the diligence. Jocks is not just a farm but is a family for many of us. Jocks has healed me in so many ways than one and will be my safe place for as long I can. Ange is always caring, communicative and helpful in anyway she can be. My horse will be 6 this year and we have not been happier than how we have been at jocks! She is a glowing example of what top care can look like.

My horse was under weight when I first got her. Bringing her to jock’s she is looking amazing and I could not be more pleased with her care. Any issue or questions that I communicated to the owner were resolved. As a horse owner, I am able to see if she has any body condition changes due to weather or other factors. As these issues arise and are communicated to the owner, she is more than happy to change her care to accommodate the needs of each animal.

My daughter is attending the camp portion but the experience has been so amazing for her that we’re signing her up for lessons prices here so affordable Hats off to all the instructors and everyone who works there I’m so glad we found you guys!!! 🥰

My horses were at Jock's for a decade before we made the move to FL. It was my 2nd home. The care of my horses was never an issue. Everyone that has slandered this business, please contact the owner/barn manager because they have so much proof to disprove any negative allegations. 54 acres of lush, treated fields, on top of several feedings a day, you won't find a better place for your horses. Drama is not tolerated which is why certain people are asked to leave. Ask those people how many barns they've had to move from before assuming Jock's is the issue.

After Full Boarding all over Hell & Creation, I finally found a barn where the barn owners know-how and no-nonsense personality really make this barn run like a tight, well organized and amazingly affordable ship. Huge Pastures, Mare/ Gelding herds and some other smaller exceptions for those that do not play nice with others. In summer there are ponds in each pasture for swimming, my horse ALWAYS used to come when called and now is deaf due to the plentiful nutritious grass varietals being grown in the pasture, the play mates and the calm atmosphere. There are trails, some are rocky, some are muddy, most work wonderful; welcome to the RI trail system.

Terrible place. I know from experience. Please do your homework and look into real reviews and experiences. Call the Cranston police and ask about how many times they are called there yearly. Please protect your animals.
