Corbett Farm

We visited Corbett farms on a Saturday in January. We decided to go riding last minute. The owner was amazing to squeeze us in same day! This farm is very well kept along with the animals. Beautiful well behaved horses! Stuart is very knowledgeable, kind and patient. He took the time to answer all the kids questions. We had a blast!! Thanks so much!

Stuart was so friendly and kind showing us his beautiful farm with many animals. He made the whole experience so seamless and couldn’t have been better. Learning about the animals and the loop he took us on with the horses was nothing but a pleasant joy! A perfect birthday present for anyone who wants an activity to do ! Will definitely be back !

Ok, where to begin! Our visit to the farm was nothing short of outstanding! We went for my daughter’s birthday and it had been a bit since either of us had been on a horse. Stuart took the time to make sure we were comfortable and safe. You can see how much he cares for his horses and also enjoys what he does! That’s rare! The conversation on the ride was amazing, as was the atmosphere and everything else about his place! I’d give it a 10 and would for sure go back if in the area!

My friends and I came down from Vancouver for one of our friend’s birthday and it was the absolute best decision! We were all able to unplug, unwind and share some of the most amazing experiences together. One of our friends already does horse riding lessons every week so she was totally in her element, as for the rest of us it was a total confidence builder! We were pretty nervous but the owners (forgive me I’m awful with names) were so super patient and kind. Everyone on the farm is amazing! The trail ride was absolutely gorgeous, the animals were so super friendly and gorgeous and the experience as a whole was amazing! You can definitely tell all the animals here are well loved and cared for. We will definitely be back again! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

We visited Corbett Farm on a hot day this early summer. This trail ride was a birthday gift for our newly 11 year old equine enthusiast. The stables we had frequented for horseback riding lessons have since closed down and we were ecstatic to find another in such a nearby and beautiful setting. Stuart was an immediate joy and gracious host, giving us opportunities to interact with all the farm life and patient answering all the questions I know he always gets. It is rare to meet someone with the affect that Stuart has; it's relaxed, very present and wildly knowledgable of his farm, animals and human feelings. The farm itself is sprawling and well kept, it's just a storybook place that we plan to visit again and again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a day away from the city and to be around some truly healing animals and people.

We had a glorious morning at Corbett Farm thanks to Stuart and Fox. It’s a beautiful farm and all the animals are so well cared for. We did a lovely trail ride through the property and beyond. The whole trail was well shaded and private. Raia was a lovely mare who made me feel comfortable and safe. Stuart was a fabulous guide and it was a pleasure to be in his company. Can’t wait to go back! 🙂

My family of seven had a wonderful experience at Corbett Farm. The horses were kind and gentle. My five daughters ages 8-15 had so much fun. They learned the basics of riding a horse, reign management, posture, and communication with the horse. We had a great ride through the local old growth forest. We got to pick and eat delicious blackberries along the way. They also enjoyed playing with the goats, pigs, ducks, and other farm animals. I would highly recommend this place to any family wanting a fun time together in nature being with kind animals.
