I have been boarding horses for 25 years in IL, CO and now NV and this is by far one of my favorite barns. I boarded at Fawnwood for 3+ years (with 2 different horses) before I had to move states. I would 100% return to Fawnwood without a thought. My horses were extremely well cared for and if anyone was looking off, I got a call immediately. It’s a very clean and well cared for facility, has trailer parking and pasture board includes the use of the whole facility. Good care and location is not going to be $400 anymore. The vibe is very chill but you are expected to be honest, pay your board on time, and clean up after yourself. Pretty standard stuff in my opinion. If you are looking for a peaceful forest oasis - this is a lovely drama free barn for you and your best friend to enjoy.

I boarded here for over a year. After being mislead about a contagious fungal issue in the gelding pasture, I removed my horse from the property as quickly and safely as I could. Be prepared to be fought on every single decision you attempt to make for your horse. There are much more professional options out there where you will not be mistreated.
